As an Atlanta transplant and karaoke rat, this was one of the first places I visited in STL. I’m really glad I did too, this is a great spot! Best stage for singing in STL by far. Carey, the owner, is a very cool lady and runs a tight ship. Service is extremely friendly and prompt. The café side has tasty treats and is a great place to relax if you need a drink but need less noise. The bar side is a lot of fun too. You get all types enjoying this place which adds to the ambience.

This place reminds me of the late night cafés in France, where you could have an espresso or a martini at 1 am. These types of places aren’t very common in the US, so the Cracked Fox fills a niche quite nicely!

PS. Like four private, single occupancy restrooms here too, which is amazing.

Out of the list of bars I went to for my 21st birthday, this was my favorite! They had a sweet cafe area, and a karaoke bar! The decor was amazing and my bartender was great. And the crowd was amazing and friendly despite it being a Tuesday night, I will be comming back!

The atmosphere at Odditeas (at Crack Fox) is mystical; like a modern apothecary meets occult curio shop. The food is Mediterranean inspired and there is an ample selection of cocktails, coffees, and teas.

My expectations were blown away! I went for karaoke night and the vibes were immaculate. There was a large drink selection & the bartenders were friendly, quick, and on it! The decorations really set the tone for a moody-yet-energized time. We had so much fun singing along to the music. An absolute must-visit!

Crack Fox markets itself as a “home of the misfits,” yet its staffing reality tells a far less poetic story. Across repeated visits, I have never once observed a person of color employed behind the bar. Not once. That absence is not anecdotal—it is consistent.
This is especially glaring given the location sits in the heart of downtown St. Louis, an area where Black and brown communities are abundant. In a neighborhood defined by diversity, its complete exclusion behind the counter reads as intentional, not incidental.
For an establishment comfortable charging $18 for a bagel while cloaking itself in progressive language and counterculture branding, this homogeneity is not an oversight; it is a choice. Inclusivity, when genuine, is operational. Hiring is where values are either practiced—or exposed.
What’s being sold here is rebellion as aesthetic, not principle. “Misfit” functions as a profitable slogan, safely curated, while the workforce remains conspicuously white and economically convenient.
I will no longer support this business. I strongly urge Black and brown patrons to consider doing the same. The message is clear: your presence is welcome—your money is welcome—but your inclusion is not.

If you are looking for a unique bar in downtown St Louis this is the place to go. If you are lucky enough to catch an event you are in for a night like other. All the bartenders are very talented and make delicious drinks! The also have a full tea and coffee area add on recently open which allows a space to work or relax!

Overcharged!! Owner chose out of greed. Your employee was clear in stating they did not know how to charge our drinks, you chalked it up to “tax” and it was no small overcharge, our $25 excursion turned into over $50 for 2 coffees and a $13 flatbread. But “taxes”. Had you at least given the courtesy to double check.
Upon waiting for service we sadly noticed a woman who had been waiting for her flatbread who then immediately lost half her slices to the floor you had just handed her the food and you didnt give a damn that the woman ate off the floor or was compensated.
I could say a lot here. But to the owner, I just dont really believe those are the types of business practices you want to be implementing. It was obvious we were overcharged and we kindly approached it, it really tainted our being able to enjoy our overall experience. It was so unfortunate how much that ruined the taste in our mouth about what your establishment is actually enciting within the community.
Perhaps consider how there could be a different type of overall quality or kindness that could have been implemented.

Karoke was a ton of fun, though my friends and I had some difficulty when requesting songs because a few of our picks weren’t available, but it wasn’t a huge deal since we were able to finally find options. They require you buy two drinks before you can participate in Karoke and that ran me about $31 for one non alcoholic drink and one with alcohol that were on the menu. The vibes were great, the staff were pleasant, and my friends and I enjoyed our time!
