Gave them their last time to disappoint, and they did not disappoint. Went on Christmas Eve was super excited because my family was in town and the crabs were surprisingly terrible. The crabs were very hollow with extended gills. most were empty. The claws were dried out of some as well. This is my 1st time having bad crabs here, previously they’ve been ok. Though the shrimp salad is pretty good, the crab that evening and the terrible service, which is usually hit or miss depending on who is there is enough to keep me away. There are many other crab spots, some even cost more, if that means better **quality** and better service, that is where my money will go in the future.

We got the Seafood Sample. We looked into the plate. All the seafood was supposed to be fried, but it looked like they didn’t finish frying it because the fries were soaked in grease and the batter they tried frying on the seafood instantly fell apart. This was our first time coming here and first place they we’ve gone to and this place was the worst experience never going back. One thing I would give a compliment to is the “hush puppies. They were made perfectly”.

Ordered crab cakes, fish sub and fries. The customer service is very good and the seafood displayed in the case looks very fresh. The seafood that they cook for you is delicious. I think the fries are a bit to greasy and that makes them look dark (not a fan of the fries). But, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting fresh seafood.

While visiting for my cousins birthday I went to another restaurant and had a bad experience so I was hungry. I wanted some seafood and went to Google. I found this place and decided to give it a try. The oyster basket is amazing and fresh. The chicken tender dinner was breast and were huge. A little too much breading for me tho. The fried shrimp dinner….my daughter loved it. The seasoned fries was a little greasy but had great flavor. The crab balls were AMAZING….all real crab meat. I got the crab dip because another customer told me it was excellent. Havent tried it yet….going to try when we return back home. Last but not least was my absolute favorite…..Shrimp Salad!!!!!! A little pricey, but totally worth every cent! Huge shrimp, red onion, celery, sauce and seasonings!! Anytime we visit, we will definitely be back!!

Who is checking the employees for customer service? How do you get a hold or send a message to any management?
Odenton location has been a go to for 15+ years now and I keep coming back bc it’s local and not horrible food, however so inconsistent.
Regardless of food quality, for a few years now I am always so hesitatent to chose this place bc of how the employees treat you. You are an inconvenience to say the least. The older guy that’s been there for some time does not care if you take your money elsewhere. Simple things like asking for a total or asking for them to repeat the order back to you are just so above and beyond his patience and ability.
I’m sure business would be much better for this location if they just had someone overseeing the employees and their day to day interactions with customers. At the very least provide a way to give feedback within the company instead of lowering your ratings on Google and yelp. From a business standpoint, this makes no sense.
Supervise your employees and provide a way to recieve feedback.

It’s one of the best seafood places in the area. The prices have increased since I started getting my seafood here in 2008, but that has never stopped me. They steam the crab legs to perfection, and they give you a nice size cup of butter. I can’t say enough about this place. If your ever on telegraph rd, I would recommend stopping by.

Have bought sandwiches here for lunch for over 13 years. Never had any disappointments until my last two visits. My Cod sandwich was about half the size of previous ones; and the slice of cheese I ordered was not on the sandwich. Today, my Jumbo lump crab cake sandwich was small, the buns have shrunk to almost nothing and I certainly did not find any lumps of crabmeat in this sandwich. Maybe the new help has trouble knowing the difference in crab cakes. But I certainly know the difference and in the price also. Three strikes and my favorite seafood place will lose me.
Update: Stopped by The Crab Galley today and my Cod sandwich was excellent and back to what I have come to expect. Everything is right again in Odenton!

*11/26/22 No Sir, I now done with this place. What was presented to me as large male was not it. At. all. I am appalled, $90 for small male smh. Next time I am in town I will definitely look elsewhere.
