Bad. This is a deli not a cafe. Food is terrible: bagels are stale, deli ingredients are poor quality, they fry prosciuto like bacon which makes it horribly chewy, egg omelette is weird and spongy. Nothing is right. I ordered an avocado toast and this is what I got ‍♀️

Service is fast and not very careful (they optimize for speed not quality).

Not recommended. Definitely a tourist trap that attract large crowds just because of its location right by the beach and opening hours (they open at 8am when everything else in the area is closed so of course people will go there)

Located near the Venice Pier, The cow’s end has nothing but a pleasant smell of coffee and delicious food. 🙂

We stopped here for coffee and because they had gluten-free options on the menu, my wife got a gluten-free avocado toast and a gluten-free donut to go. The staff was very friendly and you could tell this is a place that locals and visitors alike spend time and enjoy the ambience.
When we were there, we met friendly dogs and local people.

They swapped out my ciabatta bread for multi grain on an open face sandwich and charged me $2 for that. They really try to milk you for all you got. Food was ok but lacking in the salmon. Id would say for $21 this dish was absolutely not worth it.

Unfortunately one of the worst acai bowls I’ve ever received in my life. I got their nutty bowl I was actually thinking that it would taste better than it looked but no It was actually pretty bad even as a non picky eater!

I wasn’t expecting food to be this good here. We only had wrap and coffee but the wrap was amazing. Coffee can be little smoother but over all I enjoyed it.

Place was clean and order was smooth. Beach vacation atmosphere made me happy

Parking can be a little hard like most beach area.

1/5 for the big bully wrap
5/5 for service, vibe, decor, and workspace

Only got the big bully wrap, which I did not like, so hopefully their other food items and coffee are better because it’s such a cute space otherwise.

Didn’t like that the only wrap option was whole wheat, didn’t like the type of salsa or sausage it was made with, and why not melt the cheese into the eggs so that it’s more evenly spread throughout rather than having a clump of cold shredded cheese in the middle of the wrap?

That said, it was very cute inside. Lots of plants, lots of natural light, and two large rooms upstairs for workspace, which was almost empty on a Saturday morning at 9am. The guy who took my order was very nice and food was ready in under 10 min.

A fantastic place for coffee and something nice to eat. We spent a couple of days in Venice Beach at the end of October and went to the Cow‘s End for breakfast every morning.
We looked at alternatives but always ended up coming back.
The quality of both drinks- we tried coffees and Macha Latte – and the food (three different bagels for me ) is simply great.
The people running the place are extremely friendly, patient and chilled, simply a fantastic atmosphere.
Looking forward to coming back

We decided to stop by, as we went to the Venice canals prior and got a bit hungry. The place on the outside looked pretty nice – there was an outdoor dining area.

Inside was nice, air conditioning, and an upstairs dining area. Clean inside.

We got a salad and a spicy pollo wrap. Both were delicious, although, would say the wrap wasn’t mixed too well, as the first first is much different-tasting than the rest.

Friendly service. Would come here again soon.
