Would have loved to give more stars. First time coming since it was dock on the bay. Walked in to a sign that said wait to be seated only to find out there was no hostess. After seating ourselves we waited to be acknowledged. Place was relatively empty but still the food took a long time to come. Then it was cold. When I cold the beer battered fish, I found that it was raw in the center. Naturally we did not eat. The manager “Grace” apologized then walked away and laughed with the cook. Unbelievable. I will never ever ever recommend this place to anyone. One of the worst dining experiences in my life.

Went over here a few weeks ago for the first time to have lunch. I lived right down the street and have been wanting to try their 99 cent wings. The host was pretty good despite him disappearing momentarily throughout our lunch. The wings weren’t the best in the world but it was definitely not bad given the price. Wasn’t a big fan of their fries though and their drinks tasted like straight up syrup (in a bad way). Also I loved the amazing view!

The atmosphere was amazing. We were offered many selections for seating. We chose middle deck outdoor seating and fully enjoyed being on the lake. The people were very friendly. A man from the gocarts out front introduced himself and invited us to lower deck at fence and gave some history and he knew exact timing of the sunset. It was such an amazing view. The food was good too. The architecture seems original. Several others made conversation and told us about history and shared memories.

The Cowboy on the Lake offers a pleasantview, making it a perfect spot for a casual drink with friends. The serene lake view adds a unique charm to the place. However, the food leaves much to be desired. It tends to be overly salty, which can be off-putting. So, while it’s a great place for drinks and the ambiance, I wouldn’t recommend it for a meal.

This is what I dislike about Buffalo. No appreciation for what we have. We drove from place to place with a view and everything was closed. We finally found this little gem with outdoor seating, an amazing view, live music and GREAT FOOD! A family of 5 ate for under $100 with a $20 tip with drinks..

Wedge salad was really good. Mediterranean pasta was really good with from scratch Alfredo sauce. Honestly it was all pretty good. Would definitely make it a regular stop. Fair liquor prices to boot!

I rarely take the time to leave a review when a restaurant experience is disappointing. However, this time I am making an exception. My sisters and I went for the Sunday brunch today. The food was not appealing to look at nor was at all that tasty. In fact, the pasta looked like it was stale and the smidge of tomato sauce didn’t help to make it look appetizing at all. The ad is deceptive as it makes it sound like there are an assortment of desserts with the brunch however, that is definitely not the case, any dessert you want is extra. My one sister was about ready to explode because the waitress made us feel like she wanted us to leave. I will say the first thing I noticed when I arrived in the lobby was how dirty things were and It didn’t get much better inside the main dining hall.
I will say the male wait staff was very attentive and personable – so no complaints there!

The chicken wings are the only reason why we’d ever come back, if that… our waitress had a bad attitude and the bartender was more concerned about her phone. The outside used to be really nice, the fire pits weren’t even on and the bar outdoors was a mess smh. Hire classy not trashy waitresses

Food is outstanding and service is great. The atmosphere is relaxing and being by the lake is wo derful. Of course there are various fun activities during the week and weekends including brunch on Sundays. Check the website. I was recently at a baby shower there so you can arrange various activities as well. Enjoy this lovely venue on the lake. A little note my little service dog was welcome. Of course do not forget to keep yours on the floor and controlled in any place that serves food.
