We stopped here on a Sunday in September for lunch. We sat inside but they had a nice patio. There weren’t very many people here – I was surprised about that because it was such a nice day.

We were seated immediately – I think we just picked a table. Our server was with us quickly and took our orders. We had the walleye sandwich and perch sandwich. The perch was lightly breaded. The food was good. It reminded me of being at a beachside bar somewhat. The side salad was bigger than I was expecting but I was glad to see it – sometimes side salads are so tiny this was a nice size.

Our server was friendly and attentive. She is the only person I saw working so it may have been good that there wasn’t a crowd.

Prices were comparable to other places we go. Parking was a shared lot but there were plenty of spaces.

We enjoyed this lunch. It was a nice quick bite before going up the bicentennial tower.

Nice restaurant, waiter was nice food was good.
They serve lobster claw without a lobsternut cracker. When we ask about it the waiter gave us a fork. And also they serve food on top a news paper?
We got couple of drinks including long island ice tea and Funky Monkey, they were really good.

The restaurant we wanted to go to was closed so we settled for the Cove. Maybe if we sat inside service would have been a bit more attentive, but who knows. The food was fine, nothing really to exclaim about. The atmosphere both in and out were good, for a waterfront themed restaurant, located by the water.

The atmosphere at the Cove is fantastic with large windows overlooking the bay. We ordered a variety of appetizers including a huge soft pretzels, chicken nachos, and brisket burnt ends. The burnt ends were served with a pickle slaw and tasted delicious. Our entrees included a pulled pork sandwich, Cobb salad, and lobster mac n cheese. The lobster mac n cheese had a huge lobster claw on top and was buttery delicious. The waitress was warm and friendly. We enjoyed our food, the service and the atmosphere and will definitely return.

Was in the area for a work meeting and this was a great place to walk to and get some lunch. I was met at the door and quickly shown a seat. The staff was very friendly and helpful with making suggestions when asked.

The food came fast and was very good.

The restaurant was nicely decorated with a nautical theme, very fitting.

Good place to eat

Loved sitting on the patio. Beautiful view. The staff made me and my pups feel so welcomed and even gave them bowls of water. The drinks and food were fabulous and service was amazing. Was on a little road trip from Ohio, but will be back!

Yesterday my boyfriend and I came here to eat dinner. it was terrible from the beginning. we waited in line for 15 minutes without being acknowledged, before someone that was also in line went to a server and asked how long it’s going to take to get sat, the server said 20 minutes, after we already stood in line for 15. we waited another 10 minutes to get sat. we get to our table and ordered the Mozzarella moons, and those were good and only took 12 minutes to come out. we ordered the Steakhouse burger and the BBQ Bay burger, and both burger buns were full of grease, and were 0/10. the bacon on the bay burger was so rubbery, meaning in was in a warmer for too long. the burgers took 10 minutes after the mozzarella sticks came out. the server didn’t check on us to ask how anything tasted and she just brought the check out and then i had to tell her after sitting for 20 minutes with our burgers that i’m not paying for mine. i took 1 bite and that was it. we then asked the other server, where the manger was and she said “to be honest, i have absolutely no idea”. and that’s when we knew, this was a terrible place to come to. do not come here if you want burgers.

I am not sure what fish is supposed to be undercooked. I am positive it’s never perch and walleye!! This place needs a cook replacement!! My pretzel was the only thing that came out fresh hot and delicious. A pretzel I have had in the past. We ate our fries cause we was starving from our long day/ drive. I am giving a review because $72 on the Great Lake of Erie sounds reasonable. Except!!! Our food was terrible like so bad we didn’t complain about it. We asked for a box and we still have a tip. Just I feel like it’s a huge disappointment! Look at the photos.
