I’d give it 4.5 stars if I could do fractions. Excellent BBQ, sides, and deserts. Nice, clean, attractive restaurant. They’re doing everything right. I’m saying 4.5 vs. 5 just to be real. I’ve had a few sauces in my life that were smokier and slightly more enjoyable for me; but everyone has different tastes. I had the pulled pork and really enjoyed it. More smoke would nudge it closer to 5.0 for me. But I’d only rate BBQ 5.0 if eating it caused lung damage and hospitalized me for smoke inhalation, so don’t take me too seriously! FarmBoy’s probably is the best restaurant in the area, and definitely should be on your restaurant list. Worth driving out of your way for. Try it!

Fast service, excellent food. The pulled pork was tender and juicy, homemade potato salad and cole slaw were well made, and the apple cobbler served ala mode was sweet and piping hot. 5 stars here folks!

$18 for a “sampler platter” was barely enough food for 1, and NONE of it had a smoked flavor, all of it was just dry, blan, and tasteless.
