Food was great
The place was really busy but we managed to get all our drinks and apps in a timely manner, pizzas came out just as we finished our apps and drinks stayed filled. Menu seemed to be fairly diverse with decent selections. The bar handled our orders well with limited selection but I assume that will change as they get a grip on what their customer base prefers. Highly recommend you give this place a try, if the parking lot is full just try the lot downhill of the restaurant and be patient with the newness of the staff everybody needs time to feel out the place. This is gonna be a wonderful addition to the neighborhood!! Congrats to Don and Donnie!

Service was good, fairly busy at 1145am. Nice looking building, comfortable chairs, well laid out. We ordered cheese bread to start, SUPER cheesy!!The man child got a 12″pizza with black olives and jalapenos. He said the crust was a little soft but good. He ordered lite sauce and said it was a good amount.
I got the Balboa. It was a good size, but very dry. Needs mayo or oil and vinegar or some kind of liquid. I asked for a side of ranch and put that on it. The bread was fresh as well as the ingredients too. All in all, we’ll be back for sure.

Ordered a large Conquistador for carry out and it was good. Thin crust, sauce was incredible, toppings just right, huge pie. Little pricey but definitely will try the rest of their pizzas. Excellent customer service and really nice place. The crew working there really made an impression on me with how nice they were. Highly recommend.

The Joanarroni (pepperoni and hot honey) pizza was very tasty. The meatball appetizer was also good (with phenomenally fresh and aromatic marinara). Very busy and clearly still working out routines but the staff are working really hard at it! Be patient as we are lucky to have good locally owned eateries!

Great food, great atmosphere, and really great staff. Personal favorites are the Joaneroni pizza and the spicy cheese curds! Smash burger, buffalo chicken pizza, & the pretzel bites were really good too. I can’t wait to visit again!

Well we can say we tried this place! Went in around 3pm 2/5. They seated us and took our drink order. We waited for McKinley A to came take our order. We waited & waited & waited. Finally I got up and went to all the girls talking and said we are ready for someone to take our order. I guess I pissed her off cause she had an attitude the rest of the time. Received our Spinach & Artichoke dip. I gave her back a knife that was dirty. The “fresh bread” that came with the dip was pizza crust that was not fresh! Pizza arrived. We were not impressed at all. It needed more sauce as you could not taste any at all. Not a good pizza. We were very disappointed! As we sat the picking at the pizza noticed a girl behind the bar. She was looking in the mirror braiding her hair. Yes!!! Right between the two beer taps over the glasses.. .REALLY? Unbelievable!! My husband said it felt like we were in a high school cafeteria.
Then they give you a discount if you pay cash. They don’t tell you that!
Pizza Shoppe has nothing to worry about. Better service and better food there!!

we were at our table for a while before our waiter came and asked for our drink order. after reading everyone else’s reviews, it seems like horrible service is not new, and might be time to hold some kind of staff meeting to get it together. i ordered jumbo wings as an appetizer and pizza as my entree. the picture shows how “jumbo” these wings are…the size of a pinky. however, they were pretty good. the pizza was somewhat undercooked, one slice tasted like straight dough, and was the floppiest slices. it was decent pizza, better than pizza hut i guess. we were also given a chipped plate, which is incredibly dangerous. my family and i walked out and immediately agreed we were disappointed and wouldn’t be back

We had The Spanish Gold specialty pie. I was really excited about the flavors mentioned in the description. It didn’t have much flavor. Didn’t even tasted the pesto… we also had the hummus plate as appetizer and that didn’t disappoint. The crunchy pita chips and the dill really added a nice touch. The service was great!

Food- 5☆ haven’t had anything bad on the menu yet, TWA is my favorite so far with the smoked turkey on it being next level paired with the berry bacon jalapeño jam. Get it, you wont regret it. Looking for an appetizer? Look no further than the pretzel bites!

Atmosphere/facility- 4☆ only knock on the place is the occasional parking lot being packed with still empty tables. Not a knock but possible recommendation would be a covered/walled patio section with heaters to utilize that space in the winter. All seating has good visual of one of the 6 TVs making it the best sport watching venue in Platte city!

I’m giving this pizza two stars. The photo shown for “The Works” obviously didn’t have the works on it.
I specifically asked for something with a little bit of everything—especially sausage and pepperoni. Unfortunately, when I got halfway home, I realized there was no sausage on the pizza at all.
Parking was also an issue. There were about 15 young employees working at the time, and they took up nearly every parking spot.
I had to park next door and walk over. Also all the kids were so loud talking and having fun amongst themselves it was ridiculous probably the reason they forgot to put my sausage on my pizza. I called and spoke to “the manager” who had Absolute no comment whatsoever about the issue he actually sounded dumbfounded.
The crust, however, was very good—honestly the best part of the pizza.
