We had looked forward to trying this place since moving here last year. Sadly, it will be a first and last for us. The experience was a bit frustrating after being told that several of their listed on menu items, “I can’t make that”. I understand restaurants run out of things but I, like most patrons would expect if it’s listed on the menu, you have it.

Both items I personally ordered I was told that, only to be told after a few mins each time, they could do it. Both items were simple items that required simple ingredients so that’s why I was confused initially.

I ordered Nachos and cheese, while I did receive such nachos and cheese after being told they were out of cheese, somehow there was cheese? I almost ordered the nachos deluxe but not sure how many potential other ingredients might have been unavailable so I passed on that one, I digress.

My review isn’t to tear down a local business, but I personally feel adjustments should be made and I believe in positive constructive, feedback a business can use to improve. And I hope that they do, back to the food.

My BLT, was soggy bread, chewy bacon, tomato, lettuce and mayo. The taste was good. The texture, sadly failed on both a toasted bread front and a crispy bacon front.

My wife ordered the patty melt. She said it tasted good but was super greasy!

Our youngest got a bare bones burger with ketchup. Not much to say about that. All meals had tasty but rubbery French fries. The taste is what saved them since them were a bit chewy, gummy and not crispy.

Lastly, we got two ice cream cones and a vanilla malt. Which were all very good!

All in all, if we return, it may only be for ice cream but the service left a lot to be desired and both the younger lady and the lady cooking did seem to be a bit curt and rude with their delivery of when menu items aren’t available. Maybe a rough day?

Not sure but it def affected my decision in choosing to support this local establishment in the future. Hope things improve as we love supporting local businesses as we can afford!

Such a cute and awesome little place! The service was pretty good. Food took awhile to get out but that’s how you know it’s quality food (trust me, it was). The icecream was fantastic and rich. I complimented one of the rubber ducks they had on display and the lady working gave it to me, saying I could have it. Awesome place, totally recommend!

We were not greeted when we walked in despite being the only ones there. The staff just watched us look around for the options and pricing and asked us what we wanted. The price and options for ice cream was printed on a piece of paper taped to the side of the cooler, not on the wall like everything else. My daughter ordered an Oreo dipped waffle cone. It was all cracked and soft and old tasting. My regular waffle cone was fine, the ice cream was good.

Super small portion sizes compared to other ice cream shops in the region. A medium soft serve ice cream ($5) looked like a toddler size portion and a small chocolate shake ($5) was in a tiny styrofoam cup. Not anything special to justify the small portions sizes for the price. Would rather drive to 20 miles farther for better ice cream, more reasonable portion sizes and prices. Don’t waste your time or money!

We were excited to stop and get a treat. They were super helpful. Atmosphere was ok but nothing keeping me there or enhancing my experience. I wanted a chocolate malt. I got a cup smaller than a child size cup for $6 and change. It was horrible, grainy and no malt flavor and didn’t even fill the cup. My granddaughter got one scoop of blue moon on a cone. She like the flavor and the portion was large. Which is good since one scoop is $5.09. She did say it had a grainy consistency and a taste she couldnt place, I tasted it and the taste was a freezer taste. So for a bill of $12 we will skip the treat next time or try another place.

This is the worst soft serve ice cream cone that I got. I asked for a large and got less than a medium. The middle was hollow without ice cream in the middle. I’ve never seen anything like this. If there’s an old lady with blonde hair trying to make you an ice cream cone that’s worked there for 3 years and she doesn’t know how to do a soft serve. Lady ,Ask someone else to do it for you. Don’t insult your customers.

Been driving by this place for years. Decided to stop and try it. Nice lady running the place with one other gal. It’s simple café fare but very good quality. In fact the burger I had was one of the best burgers ever served up to me. Coming from a burger master. Fresh and man sized. The Mac n cheese bites were not like the normal triangle shaped ones you usually get, but more cheese curd looking and on point. As well as the fries. The ice cream was great and so was my raspberry shake. Just don’t forget when you go here. You’re on COUNTRY TIME! That’s to the city folk in a hurry in these reviews. Also, it’s nice you’re supporting a local business that’s probably struggling with sales in such a small town. Good job Beaverton creamery. I’ll be back.

Hand dipped ice cream was all good ok portion sizes.. The soft serve on the other hand was of the cheap variety with a grainy consistency not creamy at all more like of a shaved ice consistency with little flavor and the portion of the soft serve was smaller then I expected…
