We did not think much when pulling up to this place as it was empty, but it was excellent!! The food was fresh, quick, and delicious. Prices were perfect! I got the chicken quesadilla and it was probably the best I ever had and my son got the red neck loaded fries and they were a huge portion. We both ended up taking some home. Would definitely recommend this little quirky place.

We celebrated a closing in Ellijay with breakfast at Country Corner Kitchen and it was fantastic! Perfectly cooked eggs, creamy grits, great sausage, and the biscuit with butter and jelly was delicious. Friendly service and true Southern home cooking. And the Trash Can omelette was awesome says my hubby!

Dropped by to try something a little different, I’ve been coming to Ellijay for 6 years and managed 5 cabins up here for 4 of those six years…. I know my daughter‘s like French toast and I’m someone who’s loved French toast for every corner of the world and like to try different things and thought I would give this a shot, they actually deep fry their French toast here with cinnamon and powdered sugar and so I was looking forward to something different, when I went to take the first bite it just taste burnt to me…. I didn’t want to say anything to see how my daughters did and then my 14-year-old girl just kinda looks at me and puts down the fork and says she’s good, she likes to eat, and loves French toast, but this was an exception…. Belgian waffle was good and the cinnamon roll was good… I had not planned on leaving a review until, who I believe owner is, came up to me and said so what did you guys think of the French toast and I responded with, just kind of tasted burnt to me and then she got offended, and said nobody’s ever said that to me and we just changed out the oil, I said that’s OK. it just kinda taste burnt to me. It was just my opinion and then she just walked off.…. I own 30 short term rental properties in six states and I’m OK with negative feedback, I just see if there’s something I can learn from it and if it’s an out layer, then I just don’t worry about it and continue doing what I do, I hope that the owner just takes this piece of advice … Don’t get offended when you ask for an opinion…

Love this place! It’s a secret, low key, spot for us locals, lol! The pork and grilled chicken lunch plates are fantastic. I see a lot of people eating hamburgers and fries. Must be good! Cuban and chicken salad sandwiches, too! Staff is friendly and service is great.

Hands down the best food I’ve had in a long long time!! I had the trash can omelette with a biscuit and gravy and everything was so amazing, large plates at very affordable prices with outstanding fast and friendly service. Didn’t wait for food long (10 minutes tops) even though I was with a group of six people and there were other customers coming and going. Loved looking at all their signs while waiting. 11/10 will definitely come back!

The definition of not judging a book by its cover is this place. The fact it’s attached to a gas station might detour some people but they are missing out. This is the best breakfast spot in Ellijay.

Love being 10 minutes from this place. Great choices of iced coffee, can’t beat the breakfast, and the burgers & Cuban is excellent. Young men who were working this morning were super friendly and provided top notch service.
