Amazing food and quality. Fantastic staff! Abby, Michelle, and Isabelle are so welcoming at the bar. Attentive, friendly and ready to make you feel like you are at home. This is your Cheers! Food is top notch! Awesome strip steak, salmon, burgers.. and don’t forget the donuts at the end ! Great wine and beer selections, dirty martinis with the best bleu cheese olives ! If you stop in a time or two you will be greeted by John the owner who is there to ask how you are and what you really thought about your visit.. Great patio- weather permitting as well!

What a gem! Nestled into a cozy corner of west st.louis is the country club bar and grill. The name would suggest a pretentious venue but not at all. Just one chill place with a classic bar and even better a fine lass at the helm. Give it up for Sydney! While the pics of my meal are subdued the fare was just delicious and delivered with a beautiful smile.

So the service was really maybe only a 3, but our server had nearly the entire restaurant so it’s not a talent issue. When she was available, she was great but they needed at least one more person waiting tables. We got drinks right away but there was 10 to 15 minutes before she was she to take our order.
I had a 1/2 lb BLT and a cup of chili. The sandwich was on point – really good actually. The chili was kind of average. It was spicy enough but there was a hint of sweetness that didn’t fit. Atmosphere is a dated, but not too dated, bar with lots of wood and it is not a quiet place for conversation. It was Super busy at 1130am. I would go again.

Cozy pub with very good food and the best pint of Guinness you can find in STL (I’m a former Dubliner picky of my Guinness). So far everything I’ve tried on the menu, including a few specials, has been excellent!
Service is always very friendly, even when the place gets pretty busy. Food comes out quickly and always very fresh. I love the salmon sandwich and the bacon wrapped shrimp!
On Saturday nights they have live music from Chris who knows how to put on a show! He sounds great and plays all the songs you know and love.
Overall Country Club is a nice neighbourhood pub with good food, good service, and an excellent pint of Guinness!

It’s all right it has an OK atmosphere pretty chill good selection and food and drinks. I got the fish tacos but they were like a 6.8.
Now when it comes to getting drinks That’s the issue my waitress Isabella D has scanners for fingers and has never seen a vertical idea a day in her life even though she’s 26?
She continued to profile me throughout the service and assumed that my ID was fake because I was probably the only colored person in the room. She took my ID and examined it for more than five minutes, came back and returned my ID and said that it felt fake even though our table had two other vertical IDs exact same as mine but the black girls ID is definitely fake.
I didn’t wanna leave a review at first cause it felt kind of scummy, but I also didn’t appreciate getting profiled at my table when it was my significant others birthday and we were just trying to get a nice drink and hang out for the night.

A neighborhood bar with tasty bar food. I had the salmon sandwich which was great without the ciabatta roll, too much bread. The onion rings are amazing. Much better than the fries.
It’s kind of dark inside, although there’s an outside dining option. When we were there, it was the bartender who did her best to be a server and bartender, concurrently.

Whoever was managing takeout orders on 1/10/25 was extremely unprofessional.
Called in a little after 8:30 PM, a female answered. She listed the evening specials for me, and when I began to give her my order she asked me to hold. She then proceeded to leave me on hold for over 10 minutes. Not a big deal. I was then disconnected. After that I tried calling back numerous times, but she had turned the phones off.
If you don’t want to take my order just let me know from the beginning instead of giving me the run around.

This is a newfound gem for us. The bar has a very cozy and intimate ambiance with a large fireplace in the middle of the dining area. The Patio is far enough away from the street and nestled in a nicer shopping center with vibrant landscaping. The beer selection is beyond satisfactory and the wine pours are generous. If you are looking for a burger, you will not be disappointed. The fries are top notch and the broccoli is flavorful while not being soaked in butter.

Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, and good food it’s hard to ask for much more during lunch. If you are in the area this is a hidden gem you should definitely check out.
5/29/19 update: Let’s go Blues Burger….. this thing needs to make it’s way onto the menu permanently. Great flavors! Perfectly cooked and a great presentation. Plus the cheese melts off the burger and onto your fries. I personally love cheese fries. All in all – Damn! Great burger.
