Classic elegance meets swanky contemporary in our charming cocktail bar, the world famous Cottonwood Room. Here, we pour libations and cheers to the good old days and new beginnings. Our trademark faux cottonwood tree sprouts from the center of the circular bar, an ode to the original Cottonwood Room from the 50s and 60s. Cozy up for a nightcap, happy hour, or aperitif before dining at The Committee. Wet your whistle with a signature cocktail or try a new house specialty.

The Cottonwood Room bar at the Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel is such a beautiful spot. We stopped in on a Saturday evening and were lucky to find seats at the bar. The bartenders were friendly and made us excellent drinks. The fun décor added to the overall atmosphere, and of course, the iconic tree in the middle of the bar was a delight to finally see in person.
I highly recommend stopping in for a drink! Also, if you have time, be sure to try the restaurant next door as well. (Make a revelation in advance)

Very cool ambience and decoration. The location on the basement of the hotel gives the appearance of an actual speakeasy but there is easy access to the street. Music was a bit too loud for a speakeasy ambience. Cocktails were not consistent, due mainly to bartenders. There was one that knew what they were doing and the other not so much. I guess just luck if you get the right person. Food options not that extensive here. The steak bites were great though. Super tender and flavorful. Overall, good for a stop and definitely should be check out.

This is a beautiful spot, with the tree in the middle of the bar. Great place to have drink. Great bar staff and I really like the house cocktails, especially the Pierce Arrow! There is seating all around the bar, as well as some small tables in a side area. There is also a server for the side area tables. This bar also provides drinks for the Committee Chophouse.

Wow. Great drinks. Bar looks amazing. The atmosphere is fun and the service was fast. The server was a red haired lady with glasses. I’m sorry I not know her name but she was very nice and knowledgeable. Drinks came out fast too. Th history of the place and the hotel decorations make you feel like you’re Rick in the 30’s with a modern vibe. Wife and I will staycation here for sure. We can’t wait to come back and try more.

Great space, lively, good lighting. Cocktail menu hasn’t been updated since the fall season (autumnal cocktails), can’t comment on them because we couldn’t get a drink. Not from being too busy, but from bartenders not even looking at you or acknowledging your presence. We tried to get a drink while waiting for dinner (25 minutes). Only one server who was crushed. Not a well run service. Unlikely to come back, too many other bars.

If you have the wallet bandwidth, this place is impressive. We had a late-night drink and small dinner, and we were quite impressed… the caesar salad was very tasty, and the shrimp salad was great (more like the cocktail sauce was very tasty!). The wine choice was excellent, and the whiskey choices were very well organized. The bar-lady was very knowledgeable, and made our evening quite nice. The enjoyment PER DOLLAR maybe was a bit lower, thanks to the high prices, but it was a nice experience!

Came down for drinks after getting a couple in the Orleans. It was great! Great bartender and the drinks were amazing! Great atmosphere and very inviting. Try it! You won’t be disappointed!

The atmosphere was just what was expected. Attentive waiter, and wait assistant. The seafood platter was so filling, cocktails delicious and the desserts were yummy. Had coffee after just to relax a bit. Went to the attached bar next door. Again staff very good and drinks were delicious.
