Place was horrible. They are out of everything. They had absolutely no seasoning on the burgers. The drinks were absolutely disgusting. Views were good. Tenders and fries were good. My friends literally made fun of the restaurant and food for the rest of the week of our vacation it was that bad.

Burger was big and good quality. Service was great, not a sit down and order spot but when it wasn’t busy they would come around and ask if we needed anything. Onion rings were delicious and the little park for the kids was very helpful for eating out with kids who have been sitting in the car for a while. Fries were made from fresh potatoes not frozen. More expensive than we would have liked but that’s the only thing I would complain about. My son loved the strawberry shake. They serve a wide variety of huckleberry drinks and huckleberry alcoholic drinks as well, we went around 12pm so it wasn’t packed.

Hand cut fries, 5 stars! Except it came out with zero salt on them. Bison burger patty cooked perfect, but the burger itself was simply ok. The flavor was nothing to write home about. I asked for pepper jack cheese and got cheddar. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere, better summer place. If they adjusted a few things with their burger, could be an incredible place.

Winter very limited on seating options. You order at a window then take a seat of eating there. Burgers are huge! Bison was ok the Elk had way better flavor but both seem like they could use some salt or something. Fries were real good as well. Great place for warmer months but we were passing through end of Oct.

Gluten free buns for an extra charge. Bison and Elk burgers were amazing. The sweet potato French fries with some sugar on top and vanilla dip was soemthing else! Amazing!

The elk burger was perfectly cooked—juicy, flavorful, and one of the best I’ve had. Paired it with a huckleberry honey beer that added the perfect touch of sweetness. The sweet potato fries were crispy and well-seasoned—definitely worth the hype. Great local spot with amazing food, fast service, and a laid-back atmosphere. I’ll absolutely be back for the patio views

We ate the bison burgers and Huckleberry shakes, they were conservative with the mustard, and seasoning (salt), however otherwise not a bad burger joint. Shakes were sweet and creamy as well!

We got dinner as takeaway from here. The food came as long as it took but it was worth it. In fact every penny was worth the taste of it! We ordered one veggie burger and one chicken burger. Loved both! Also they give you loads of hand cut fries which taste just like homemade. I totally recommend eating here.

My son daughter-in-law and granddaughter and I stopped after a visit to yellowstone. It was pretty busy, but still we got our food pretty quickly, the burger was exceptional. I actually ordered the child’s size burger with fries, it was more than enough. There’s a little area where kids can play, and that’s where we sat. I have to say that I also use the bathroom and it was exceptionally clean. There were elk and some nearby property as well.

As far as a quick bite for burgers and fries, it was a good stop and had the Ma and Pa vibe. The only reason I’m not giving a 5 is because the bison burger was good but a little dry as was the chicken on the chicken salad. But the chicken salad, was huge, so I wasn’t as upset about paying the $21.95 for it as I was at first. It’s not like there’s a ton of restaurants in Gardiner, so choices are small, and this is a pretty good one that won’t completely break the bank compared to other tourist traps. Think food truck prices without the truck. The kids burger is almost as large as an adult burger with just less fries.
We sat outside, which has a play area for kids, and then there is a larger area outside that plays music and has a good vibe for those who don’t want to be by the play area. Didn’t realize there was an inside dining area until after we were done eating because it was kind of hidden around the corner but it wasn’t anything special. For what it is they do the best they can to make it family friendly and also appeal to travelers who don’t want to sit in playland.
Overall good for a quick bite, but not knock your socks off kind of thing. There was an issue with one of our orders, where they had missed a burger. I realized later might have even been out fault, but they were good about resolving it and got another burger made up, so 5 stars for service.
Overall 4 stars just because the food was a little dry.
