The were in Asheville recently during a trio of festivals. Often with the lunch rush, food trucks speed up to try and keep pace often messing up the food in the process. That was not the case here. This food came out tasting perfect and exactly how we ordered it. The rep at the window was both knowledgeable and courteous. The portions were generous and the price was right on target. Living in an area where most of the Latin food representation is Mexican, this food truck brought a diversity that was severely needed. As a Puerto Rican and a NY native this truck was the closest thing to home I had eaten in a very long time. Best part, the food digested well too. It was filling without being heavy making it the perfect festival food!

After waiting for well over an hour our two empanadas were ready. They were tasty. The person taking our order could have been friendlier. Extremely slow for a food truck.

Unfortunately, I ordered a hamburger. Aside from the fact that they don’t even have onions or pickles for the burger and perhaps the lady could have been friendlier, the real problem I had was that the meat was nearly raw. I got it from the food truck in the parking lot at work, took it back to my office, took a bite, almost threw up, and went back out to complain. It was 1:00 PM and they already left, so now I’m forced to do a chargeback on my credit card. And, of course, I won’t be getting any food from them ever again.

Literally liars. Ordered steak and they ran out and tried to give us chicken sneakily. Woman was incredibly rude, charged us more than the menu price and took over 45 minutes to get our food (zero warning it would take that long) and then tried to give us something else. We had to ask to get reimbursed and thus ate nothing after all that. Avoid.

Super super slow. Waited over hour for food. Then told me 5 more minutes and still waiting.

Then tried to claim they called my number when they most certainly did not.

Son in law ordered beef and got chicken

Just OK, I personally will not try them again. Pork Patacon was swimming in mayonaise and wilted lettuce. Not appetizing at all. My son’s loaded fries were delicious though.

Authentic, fresh, absolutely delicious Venezuelan food. The best we have found in the Triangle. My husband is from Caracas and this truck is the only Venezuelan he will eat in the area. Thank you all for providing a taste of home!

Don’t trust their pager system. We waited 30 mins but it never buzzed. We eventually went to see what was happening, our food had obviously been ready for quite a while as it was stone cold.

always my life saver when I am craving for Arepas…I have tried almost everyone elses Arepas, this food truck has the perfect taste, perfect texture and the amount of meat and cheese they stuff it with…you got to get one to see what I mean and I know you will say yum, yum, yum!!
