The girls and I got together at this bar and grill before we went to a haunted trail. I called in to make reservations for 6pm for 8 ppl. When I arrived I parked on the street. I walked in and seen the table that was reserved for us. April was our server and bartender. She was working pretty much alone with a full bar. She did us well. I ordered the merlot and that was tasty. The girls ordered different drinks and only one wasn’t flavored the way she liked but her second drink of the malibu drink was good to her. For food I got the buffalo chicken wrap with fries and that was tasty. I also tasted the buffalo wings and that was tasty as well. The bill for me was only $18 which was great. We all paid and left. We had a good experience.

inexpensive food. The building’s markings are poor. The building on the corner is large and grey. Excellent cuisine. The fries were delicious. There are many of flies inside. Although they weren’t the friendliest customers, the bartender was incredibly cordial. Suggest execution.

Who likes being completely ignored? I sure don’t and on a slow Saturday night with 2 bartenders behind the bar you’d think you’d at least get an acknowledgement. Nada, zilch, nothing…not the first time this has happened over the last few months. I’ve been coming here for years and years. My sandwich was delicious… it is a bar so I was pleasantly satisfied with my chicken and broccoli sandwich. The garlic bread it was served on was perfect. We went on a Monday or Tuesday night since we were in the area and I hadn’t been there in almost 29 years. It was a little on the quiet side as stated before not really a bigger going out night and we got there late. There are pool tables and darts. Good music, good people, friendly staff, big bar. Not to mention the prices I think are the best around and we go out often. Check em out!

Fantastic spot. Food was great, drink selection was better than most, my server was tentative and very friendly. An absolute solid place. Hometown feel with an atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re in your own hometown. Stopped in here years ago and I don’t think it changed a bit!

I have been going regularily to Corner House for 10 years and have always recieved great food and service, until tonight,. Tonight, I was treated with complete disregard. I arrived at 5:30 pm and immediately ordered the steak special and a coke. The Coke arrived within a minute. After a 50 minute wait i was neither acknowledged to refill my drink and never saw my steak dinner. I watch a table of six that arrived 10 minutes after me get their food. So when I asked my bill, the bartender who took my order did not even realize I had been there and ordered with her. She asked me what I had and I told her a Coke and Steak, which I never got my steak. Then after paying the $2.00 for coke and telling how poorly I was treated, she didn’t even apologize but instead she acted mad at me for expressing how annoyed I was in never getting my dinner. Very disappointed.

Dive Bar! Love it! Incredible bar food!! BEST prices anywhere in central Jersey! Bartenders are great (still learning to make a good martini though) Weds NY Strip Steak Night is awesome! basket of fried clam strips, $5, cant find that anywhere! Does get a little crowded on pool night!
