I even received a free lemonade from the chef from the next truck over.
The ordering process was quick and easy .
Everything was good, I would show the end results but I am a lil bit embarrassed I ripped through that seafood as if it was the last supper .
I ordered the crabs with shrimp and mussels
Thank you to the chefs I enjoyed everything
I will be going back to try the Salmon Cheesesteak and another lemonade drink
No where did it say where you order your stuff so I went to the first window where the menus were listed. The gentleman let me know in nice way that this area was for fish orders only and all other orders at the trailer. So I went to the other trailer but since it was crowded, I waited a few min to order. Then after the other gentleman with the beard was finished situating who ordered what with the cook, I then was able to place my order. I was told it would take 25-30min which I understood because they were severely short staffed.
While we are waiting, my husband and I realize that there is only 1 table and 10 people besides ourselves at the stand so we needed to figure out where we were going to eat. My husband went down the street to the brewery and they told him, “Yes, you can bring your food here.” Once my loaded fries were finished, which had to be taken back b/c the cook did not realize they were supposed to be loaded fries, my husband left to get us a table. My husband’s order, however took another 10min to make and the cook asked me 3 times what exactly the order was.
Then once I got his cheesesteak, I had to remind the cook that I also ordered a water and lemonade. He quickly grabbed them and I was on my way.
My fries were ok all things considered but the chicken pieces were too big. My husband did not like his cheesesteak and threw away the other half.
I understand we all get busy. The cook had an order of 10-12 items before us and we were fine with waiting. What I was not ok with were: a) lack of seating b) not knowing my order, c) having to remind them I needed all of my order and d) my husband not fully enjoying his meal.
This was not a pleasant experience. I gave them 2 stars for effort and because my fries were ok. But would I return to this place? No. Would I recommend it to others? No. Saturdays are a great money making day and to have only 3 staff members is not a great idea. I try very hard to be a pleasant person and not act entitled. I just think you should do better. Especially on a weekend afternoon. Thank you.
