The minute you walk in, you realize why the bartender has a following. He remembers faces, customers favorite drinks and makes everyone feel welcome. The chef has worked at 5 diamond restaurants and it shows on the menu. The cocktails are innovative and the dining selections are definitely not the bar food one is accustomed. A great place to hang with friends without the need to be dressy. All my guest said they would definitely be returning. Just a note, it does get loud when full create possible difficulties for someone with hearing issues.

So this was my first time visiting the Copper Still, I have to be honest, I was expecting an old building with different bourbons and bar food. Oh my was I wrong, the place was very nice, the service was great, but the food was out of control good! My complements to the chef, bartender, waitress, and owner. This was a wonderful experience and I cannot get over the food, I had the pork shank, which is hard to find and it was incredible!!!!! We will definitely be back!!!!

I surprised my whiskey loving husband with a date night here for his birthday! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful down to every last detail. The food was far beyond any of our expectations !!! His pork shank was what dreams are made of! Our server Morgan was super knowledgeable about the whiskeys and menu! Super friendly and welcoming! We cannot wait to come back and bring our family and friends!

It’s one of the more classy places I’ve visited in a while, but I had nothing but good, warm vibes to offer.
The atmosphere is very warm, inviting and friendly. Whiskey and bourbon decorations are strung about. Little touches to make it feel more comfortable, like inviting wooden furniture and a fireplace in the corner.
The food was good, but it’s not the reason that most go here. We ordered two appetizers: the cheese ball, salsa, and chips. We also each had a hoagie. I ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch. It was good, but it reminded me somewhat of subway quality. The presentation was much better than that, however.
The drinks were great. This is where this place really shines. A large bourbon collection, where you can order pours, flights, and cocktails of what must be over 100 different types of bourbon and whiskey.
Overall opinion? It’s a great place to spend an evening trying new bourbon with friends and having a bit to eat in a warm, scenic atmosphere.
The largest negative quality is the price, I felt they were overpriced on a few things, but definitely not everything.
Also, grab a reservation. It gets busy, and there’s isn’t a lot of room.

This is just such a fun and relaxing environment. The bar tender was making smoked cocktails that I’ve never seen before. He was so kind, entertaining and interacts with everyone effortlessly. Awesome!

The full staff and Brad in particular were great to work with. We used the Copper Still to host a wedding rehearsal dinner and the food, atmosphere and servers were wonderful. Had dinner with my coworkers here after work, it was great! One of us had to keep working so she was on her laptop while we all ate amazing food. We split 3 starters and it was perfectly portioned and the atmosphere was so cozy! After work this is going to 100% be a normal thing because EVERYTHING is perfect! Thank you to the awesome bartenders for being super sweet, giving us a space to relax and have great food!

Cozy atmosphere and friendly, but slightly slow, service. Great drink selection and healthy portion sizes at decent prices. The beef and green onion cheese ball appetizer was great and enough for two to split. The Chicken Bacon Ranch Hoagie was shredded chicken with bacon bits in a ranch sauce, reminiscent of a chicken salad, which wasn’t bad, just slightly salty for my tastes. In their defense, I had tasted the aforementioned hoagie after tasting their Wild Turkey Cowboy Hoagie, which was the best sandwich I’ve ever tasted…hands down the BEST!! Pastrami, summer sausage, Colby-jack and pepper-jack cheeses, with sweet pickles and Cowboy Candy (candied jalapeños!!!!!!!) and cream cheese spread…so many flavor profiles going on at one time it was heavenly in my mouth! I absolutely loved this hoagie!! Definitely worth the drive to Roanoke!

Staff was helpful and prompt and the The Old Fashioned was top notch. This place has an extreme selection of bourbon which is a great find for Indiana! The inside was clean with the main focus in their spirit selection, as it should be Fun place to stop in for a drink.
