My new favorite diner! First of all the hostess was such a lovely person and greated my mom and I with such energy that it was impossible not to smile. And our waiter? Super nice! The atmosphere was diner-esque. Very welcoming even with the modern decor. The food was delicious. My mom and I went the morning after Halloween and we were craving something sweet for breakfast. I got the Viva La French which was out of this world delicious! The French toast was covered in cheesecake bites and a berry syrup it was so sweet and delicious. My mom also got something off their specialty menu. She got the half order of the Peach Cobbler Belgian Waffles. It was a Belgian waffle woth peaches and vanilla ice cream on top. I’m pretty sure it had syrup as well. Also, the amount of food for the price you pay is perfect! I could barely eat all of my meal.

Update: still happy with service here! They are still cooking great food! Especially my favorite item the sweet potato casserole. Shout out to the cooks today! Fabulous. Chefs kiss.

Love this place we go every other weekend for breakfast. I always get the sweet potato casserole soooo good. Also the Dilly Dally sandwich is fun! Great staff. It is a little over priced but we just started limiting the visits.

Really good family diner. My Greek omelette was delicious. Toast & pancakes were good too. The toast was a nice marbled rye. My server, Calebmichael, was attentive & pleasant. Great prices too!

*Update: tried to go here this morning. Holy moly they increased the prices A LOT!! The price increase was too much for a diner like this, I think we have to find a new spot with more affordable prices like this place used to have! *
Me and my husband absolutely love this place. My friend is a food snob who doesn’t like to try new places. i brought her here the other day and she won’t stop talking about how good it was. We come here all the time. I can’t say enough how delicious the food is, fair pricing, and the wait staff is just the best. Jordan is the best server in Macomb, he always makes our day with his professional nice smile , and happy energy. He’s our favorite server and literally makes our days brighter. Everyone else there is so nice too. The atmosphere is adorable, cozy and cute. Love it!

This place never disappoints! This time I had the tomato bisque and the Cobb salad. The best tomato soup that I ever had! It was so heart and definitely homemade. The salad was loaded with toppings! Homemade blue cheese dressing was the cherry in top. There’s a very diverse menu so there’s something for everyone. I would highly recommend this incredible family style restaurant!

We are staying in a hotel while our home is being repaired from water damage. We’ve been eating in and getting carry outs on a regular basis since November at Copper Kettle up until today. We will not be back. The food has been good and they have a friendly staff. However, this evening we were waited on by Brittany G. Our bill was $65 for two meals and this waitress charged us $6.98 for a little more gravy. She had the audacity to charge $6.98 for extra gravy when I clearly told her to give my husband my gravy that came with my mashed potatoes. My husband,a cancer survivor, needs gravy to help him swallow his food. I was shocked she charged us an extra $6.98 for my gravy that came with my meal. We spent $65 on food and she was so petty to charge us for the gravy. When I asked her if she’d take the gravy off because he had my gravy she said she’d only take off $3.98 and only refunded me half the money. Well Brittany G you can tell your manager you lost a very loyal customer. No other waiter or waitress ever charged us more at Copper Kettle or other restaurants we go to. We will not be back. Warning to others ask if you being charged extra for anything. I still gave her a nice tip but I shouldn’t have. Do not go to this resturaunt if you have any dietary restrictions they will over charge you for your special needs.

I love coming here. One of my favorite diners. Excellent customer service (so friendly and attentive), modern and clean layout, and the food is delicious.

People go to restaurants for the atmosphere, food, and cost, I’m happy to sat that the atmosphere is fantastic, the food is fantastic, and the cost is good for 2026 standards.

I love coming here. I have recommended for my friends and family to dine in here.

Why have I driven by this fantastic eatery so many times without stopping! This will be our new go to for eating out.

My mom, sister and I wanted to have a nice brunch together and decided to stop here as it is near where we both live. The inside was very inviting with plenty of booths and tables, sparkling clean environment and cute décor.

There was a great variety to select from on the menu. I settled on a standard cheeseburger with an upgrade to sweet potato fries. My sister had a double cheeseburger with a cup of soup and mom had chicken tenders with a salad and soup. Our burgers were juicy and fresh. The buns were soft and delicious. The salad was crisp and fresh. The soups were to die for! The best tomato soup I ever tasted…thanks mom for letting me try it.

Our server was knowledgeable, efficient and and very kind.

The prices are fair. There is plenty of parking spaces. The outside doesn’t scream, this place is great but once you step inside you will not be disappointed.

So, went there today for breakfast with a friend. I ordered the shrimp and grits. My friend had eggs, bacon, and pancakes. Everything looked fine and the portions were fine. However, my grits were lukewarm but the shrimp were warmer, I think they plated everything while they waited for the shrimp. Anyway, to make matters worse, my shrimp still had pieces of the shell still on the shrimp. I was very disappointed to say the least. I put the shells on the side of my plate so the waitress could see it and I know she did but she never said anything when she picked up my plate, half eaten. I didn’t say anything or ask to be comped for the meal but I feel, she should have asked how I liked my meal but she didn’t. I did take a picture but I don’t have an option to add it with my comments.
When we left, the guy at the register was friendly but when we approached (2 women), he kept referring to us “guys”. I know it’s a common phrase, “how was everything guys?”, but he kept referring us as guys. I was annoyed. Why not adjust your comments to just say, “how was everything?” No need to add to it. I won’t be going back.
