Nice little bar / restaurant sort of hidden next to Starbucks. Very creative menu. The friendly waitress/bartender helped us with drink selections which we liked very much. We snacked on some bacon wrapped dates first. Wow, they were so good. My gf doesn’t like arugula, but ended up eating it anyway because the bitterness balanced the sweet and salty of the dates and bacon perfectly. If you’re a foodie, you will understand. Then we had chicken nachos. Don’t let the common name fool you. It was another culinary masterpiece. The chips were not your ordinary tortillas, and the little tomatoes and cheese were tangy and delicious. Our full bellies were the only thing that stopped us from eating our way through the whole menu. I wish I had been hungrier, but I will be back!

Tuna appetizer was fresh and nicely chilled. Potato chips a nice surprise. Reuban wasn’t served grilled but on toasted bread and not bad. Not bad at all. Chicken nachos a must!Exciting drink menu. Couch and chairs we sat on could use some help. Ripped and tattered. Sit at the bar.

I have been to Copper Dram on several occasions. In fact, the locals know me. However, I experienced an awful experience tonight. After visiting for happy hour and having a few drinks, then doing my grocery shopping across the street, I returned for dinner, an hour later. Upon my return, the bartenders were happy to serve me. I ordered dinner. However after the third drink, the bartenders cut me off. Their reason was because they served me too much throughout the day. I asked, “what did I do for you to curt me off?” Their response was, “you did nothing, you just had too much to drink today.” I said, “Interesting.” I left for an hour and conferred with co-counsel and the Delaware Code that states that an intoxicated person is one that is visibly intoxicated…. Upon my return to inform the bartender about the law, she said, “you’re visibly intoxicated.” “Your pupils are dilated.” Amazing that these observations came an hour later, with nothing to drink in between. I spent $200 at this bar today. I find it interesting, that they will accept customers from BBC Tavern at 11:00pm drunk, and visible intoxicated. But, because they haven’t been served at Copper, they are at their safe haven until they back out, which I’ve witnessed.

We had our first visit here tonight. The bartenders were super friendly and helpful. The place is small, but it wasn’t too crowded. The seats at the bar were super comfortable. Music was at a perfect volume. My boyfriend enjoyed his beers. And my Blackberry Bramble cocktail was delicious. So was our food- chicken nachos, hawaiian flatbread, Kinda Cubano sandwich, and the fried brownie potstickers. Would definitely return when I’m in the area! Thanks for a delicious, chill evening.

Second visit to the Copper Dram and will not be the last. Everything about this place is unique, top notch with incredible food and drinks! We were a party of 9 ladies last night, the waitress was fantastic. The Dram has the most unique food and drinks, we had a variety of appetizers and different drinks everything was fresh and delicious. If you have not given it a try please do. No reservations taken, but find a seat at the bar, lounge area or tables and enjoy!!!!!
