Really good service, good drinks, really nice atmosphere, and great outdoor seating. HOWEVER, if you love chicken and waffles, and are expecting a large portion, don’t get it here. I ordered it expecting the usual large portion I get at other places, but was extremely disappointed in the size. It looked about the portion a 10 year old would get. My other friend’s foods were decent sized (pancakes and a breakfast meal) so when I got mine I was disappointed. Just warning to ask how much food you should expect, everything else 5 stars!

A couple girlfriends and I went to The Cooper Monday night for dinner. This restaurant is very busy for a reason and has a great atmosphere. Our server Cortney was great and so were her recommendations. They offer 1/2 priced bottles of wine on Mondays which we indulged in. All 3 of our meals were very good. We will definitely be back to enjoy the patio and bar on a warmer night.

I made a reservation a week in advance for Valentine’s Day because I wanted the night to be special for my girlfriend. Instead, it turned into the most disappointing restaurant experience of my life.
We were seated outside at a wobbly table with no heaters on, even though I was told there would be. No candles. No decorations. No effort to make it feel like Valentine’s Day. The only highlight was the guy playing guitar. He was great.
Our server, Nicole, was completely disengaged and non attentive. We waited 35 to 40 minutes just for appetizers. The mussels were small, bland, and we weren’t even given a bowl for the shells. I had to be “that guy” and actually wave her down just to get acknowledged, and when she came over, her responses were short and irritated. There was no warmth or effort whatsoever.
The entrees were just as disappointing. The swordfish linguine was dry with barely any pesto, and the risotto was overcooked and mushy. For the prices, the food was extremely underwhelming. The manager never once visited the table.
I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for years and never thought I would do this, but this was the first time in my life I left no tip. That’s how bad the service was.
This was supposed to be a meaningful night. Instead, it was frustrating and genuinely disappointing. One star is generous.

I was initially really looking forward to eating here. My friend and I came for lunch on Sunday around 12:30pm. I couldn’t find any information online about when brunch ends and lunch begins, so I assumed that by 12pm lunch would be served. However, we were given a brunch menu.
To start, the hostess wasn’t necessarily rude, but she wasn’t friendly either. Based on that first impression, I should have anticipated that the service might not be great. Our server never introduced herself and was not pleasant toward either of us. Throughout our entire meal, she repeatedly stared at us from the bar area, which made us extremely uncomfortable.
The drink she made for me was unfortunately not good, but I chose not to complain. I ordered the lobster roll, and my friend ordered the avocado toast. Neither dish was terrible, but neither was impressive. Despite not voicing any complaints about the food or drinks, our server still seemed unhappy to be serving us.
When it came time for the check, I had to ask for it and requested that it be split. She huffed about having to do so and initially returned with only one check. We had to ask again for it to be split before she corrected it. Additionally, she cleared our plates without asking if we wanted boxes for our leftovers, even though we had plenty remaining.
The restaurant itself is clean, cute, and has great potential for good vibes. Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing. Based on this visit, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Delicious lunch here today. We were seated outside in a perfect location since we’re traveling with a dog. Covered outside area with fans. It was great. Very nice lunch. Delicious cole slaw. Husband really liked his burger giving it and 8 out of 10. Fish and chips — the fish was flaky and great, just like our server said it would be. Real standout here for us was the Bang Bang Shrimp. Delicious!!! Server very nice and friendly and she brought cold water for our dog. Very sweet of her. We will return if back in this area!

Great local spot. Staff very attentive and friendly. Treat u like family n get to know you. Wife order a drink, I am not much of a wine person n order sangria. Lucky to come when it was happy hour on Saturday n nice day so we Saturday outside by the bar. Food was amazing. Unique n quality. Portion were big. Had nice craft beer selection. Had the mussels n wife had tuna tar tar. Tried very yummy Korean ribs. Looking forward to going back next beach adventure to Juno.

Went for brunch after church on Sunday. They had live music outside and inside and outside seating available. Service was excellent, didn’t mind switch the bread on my chicken sandwich for naan instead (which was totally the move btw.) The smoked salmon eggs Benedict was good, but not better than others I’ve tried before. Overall it was a cute little spot.
