I stopped here for the first time today for lunch after church. The restaurant was very busy; we had about a 30 minute wait for a table for two. The hostess was very friendly. The dining room is large and well decorated. Our waitress was the best part of our visit. Maddie was very professional and friendly. She is every employer’s dream- she hustled, she is well- spoken, and she didn’t smell like weed. She was careful to explain the upcharge for the sides my guest wanted with her eggs. I ordered an omelet and coffee. Our food arrived quickly. My guest ordered bacon and Mom’s hashbrowns with her eggs. The bacon was delicious- thick-cut. The hashbrowns were fantastic, but they could have been cooked a little longer. Our toast was perfect! My omelet was very large. I ordered black coffee, but it was very bitter and disappointing. I didn’t use the bathroom, so I can’t speak to the cleanliness. Maddie’s timing and attention were perfect!

If you’re in Waukesha and want to have an amazing breakfast, The Coop is the place to go! The only downside is the wait time—but honestly, that’s just because it’s so good that it’s always packed on weekends. We waited about 30 minutes for a table, but it was totally worth it.

I went with my wife, and everything we ordered hit the spot. My smoothie was amazing like always, and I got the waffle with fried chicken because I wanted some protein in the morning (lol). Great flavor and perfect waffle consistency! My wife ordered eggs, and she was super happy—the portion was big enough for two meals.

We’re always happy with The Coop. Great food, great vibes, and worth the wait every single time!

Good spot for breakfast. We ordered the Santa’s skillet which was decent and the southerner Benedict was also good. The breakfast tacos were very tasty.

Ordered breakfast through their website. Delivery was 45 minutes after placing the order. We really liked the cute notes they wrote on the packaging. One said, “Made with love”, and another said, “You Rock”. The Cinna-Swirl Pancakes and Churro French Toast looked so good. The Southerner Benny tasted pretty basic and average. I kept thinking, I shoulda got the pancakes instead lol. Country potatoes were plain and unseasoned. We ordered a side of hashbrowns but were given country potatoes instead. I liked that you can choose how you want your bacon, (soft, crispy, extra crispy). Soft was okay, extra crispy was not.. very chewy and disappointing. The berries were fresh, and portion sizes were good. Overall, it was decent, but not worth the amount of money I spent.

What a great place to go for breakfast. I went there with my family as a great place to get together. Yes, there was a bit of a wait on a Sunday morning, no surprise there. This place is popular. The food and service were great, even gluten-free choices for gluten free. I’m definitely coming back when I have the chance.

This was my first visit and I found great and fast service, solid home cooking and a reasonable price. I had the classic eggs scrambled, bacon, potatoes and pancakes. The coffee is high octane. This was perfect for a quick bite and I was able to catch up on some work. I will definitely be back when next in the area.

We found this spot by accident & we’re sooo glad we did! We were on our way to competition so were a bit limited on time. The hostess made a point to let the waitress know & they went out of their way to get our order in promptly. Our waitress was Ericka and she was incredible. Super friendly, attentive & read our order back to us for accuracy. We had the chilaquiles, bacon omlette & the corn beef hash skillet. All three meals were delicious! The waitress recommended the carnitas for the meat with the chilaquiles and I’m so glad she did. Serving sizes were more than generous! We all 3 had to go boxes. We will ABSOLUTELY revisit this restaurant next time we’re in the area!!☆☆☆☆☆

Ok. I am going to be honest. I really love this place but they really need to up their coffee game. It is always too strong or burnt tasting. If they could get their coffee right, it would be perfect. I love to go have pancakes and coffee but I’m starting to get annoyed at how nasty the coffee tastes, always super strong and I am a black coffee drinker so I’m not exaggerating. Please fix it. I am begging

This morning, I came to The Coop with my husband and son for breakfast. As always, the food was incredible but this visit felt different in the best way.
We were seated near the door,l close to the register, so it was easy to hear the interactions between the hosts and guests. Around the same time we were seated, a young man who was truly a kind, gentle soul was seated alone at the booth next to us. During his meal, he chatted often with the girls at the front, and they were just as warm and friendly with him. I overheard him jokingly asking who was taking him home, saying he was ready for his ride, and the girls kindly responding, “We’ll take you in just a few minutes please be patient.”
As the restaurant grew busier, it became clear that stepping away might be difficult. Then, without hesitation, one of the girls approached him and asked if it would be okay if she ordered him an Uber to get him home safely. I was genuinely taken aback in the best way. It was such a simple yet powerful reminder that there are still truly good people in this world.
I don’t know the details of the situation or how they knew him, but the kindness shown was undeniable. I immediately turned to my husband and said how amazing it was, and how deeply it touched me. I couldn’t help but think that if one day my own son ever needed help getting home, I would hope someone would show him that same care and compassion.
When the Uber arrived, the host walked him outside, helped him into the car, and then returned to work as if it were the most natural thing in the world. That small act of kindness made my entire day and it’s something I won’t forget when eating at the coop.

My daughter and I came here for a girls day breakfast and the food was sooo good! Our server was Alexis (I believe that’s his name) he was phenomenal as well. I got the meat lover type skillet and an iced mocha and they were both divine. My daughter loved her pancakes and bacon. Will definitely be back
