I came in and ordered shrimp and grits. They packed it in a container that could barely close, and the food spilled out into the bag. I showed the employee that my food was wasted, and she acknowledged that the box was messed up but said there was nothing she could do because the food was already in the bag. On top of that, she was cooking food while on her phone and not wearing gloves, which raised serious hygiene concerns. Spoke with owner and he remade my food no problem ❤️

Very Disappointing Experience – Will Never Order Again

I just ordered my meal via DoorDash, and they’ve already issued me a credit because the food was absolutely disgusting. Everything tasted like it had been cooked days ago in old oil. The entire meal was extremely greasy. I ordered pancakes for my 5-year-old, and they were black. The salmon croquettes were inedible, the omelette was swimming in oil, and the potatoes tasted like they had been cooked a week ago. Everything was just bad.

I called the restaurant because I wasn’t planning on leaving a review initially, I just wanted to let them know that they may want to work on the quality of their food. The manager, Joy, who answered the phone, was not pleasant at all. I explained all of the issues, and she simply said, “Thanks for letting us know,” asked for my name, and then hung up.

This was my first and last time ordering from here. I won’t be coming back.

I ordered breakfast through Door Dash. The Bacon Egg and Cheese on a biscuit was really good. The corned beef was crispy and hot. I went back a second time, and I highly suggest paying the extra dollar to get the ciabatta bread. Very delicious and way more filling

I read the reviews and decided to order through door dash. I ordered French toast, bacon, eggs, and cheese grits and flushed it with strawberry lemonade. Everything was delicious. The grits was creamy. The French toast didn’t need any syrup. I can’t comment on the service because my food was ready, and I was in and out. Most of the food looks like it was cooked already, and it was on a streamer. The price was reasonable. I will return to try other menu items.

Ordered my food through chow now. The only problem was it took a lil long to get there. But my food was fresh and warm I ordered fried catfish with cheese grits with peppers and onions. Food was well seasoned. The toast was a lil more done than I like, but then again I didn’t know my order came with toast! Lol
Came with jelly and napkins and spoon. Over all happy with my order and food.

The Coop: A Breakfast Review

I recently had the chance to check out The Coop for breakfast, and while it wasn’t quite a five-star experience, it came close!

The overall quality of the ingredients was undeniable. Everything tasted fresh and cooked to perfection.

The omelette was light, fluffy. It could have used a bit more seasoning. A sprinkle of salt and pepper, or perhaps some herbs, would have taken it to the next level.

The potato fries were tasty and satisfying. While delicious, they were a tad on the greasy side.

The side of avocado was a bit of a disappointment. I was specifically told the side of avocado I ordered would be a WHOLE avocado, but only received half. Consistency is key!

At $15, the breakfast was a bit on the expensive side. I understand the economy and this might be a sign that I need to cook at home ( for $15… now let’s see…. $3.50/dz eggs, $3 bag of potatoes, $4 bag of avocados…Hmmmm )

In Miami, a similar breakfast could be found for around $5-$6. While the quality was good, the price might not be suitable for everyone.

The coop breakfast was delicious and definitely worth the wait . The French toast and pancakes both are cooked to order and they taste awesome. We also had eggs, grits, and biscuits all seasoned and cooked to our liking. The homestyle potatoes was seasoned so good and the peppers and onions made it even better. We don’t live in the area but the food was so delicious we will definitely drive back to eat at the coop. Keep doing what your doing providing great food and service.

I’ve ordered here twice and unfortunately will not be returning.

The first time, I placed an online order and waited the allotted time shown on my receipt (plus a little extra). When I arrived, not only was my food not ready—it hadn’t even been started. The cashier explained that she was only helping out and didn’t realize the order had come through. I ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes in the restaurant. I let it slide since the food was good and assumed it was a one-off mistake.

A couple of weeks later, I placed another online order. This time, I even called five minutes afterward to confirm. The man who answered told me they were no longer serving breakfast, even though the online ordering site still allowed me to place (and pay for) the order. No one reached out to let me know. If I hadn’t called, I would have just shown up for nothing. I requested a refund, and he said it would be processed.

By Tuesday, the charge had gone from “pending” to “completed,” with no refund. I called again and spoke to a woman who seemed confused by the situation but promised to issue the refund. That was two weeks ago. Nothing.

It’s not about the $30—it’s about integrity. The food itself is good, but customer service and accountability are just as important when running a business. Unfortunately, I won’t be spending my money here again. I do hope the owners make the necessary improvements, because they have the product part right—but that alone isn’t enough to succeed.

When I ordered a breakfast plate (bacon, eggs etc) with salmon patties on the side $6. I never received my patties or a refund. They should seal each order where no one can access it accept who it’s attended for. Other than that the food is good and affordable.

Pancakes tasted burnt, grits were hard, requested cheese on grits and paid extra but did not get it. The beef sausages were ok. I ordered on Doordash but will not be ordering again sadly.
