Very good pizza and wings. They have a special where you can get 3 personal sized pies. This was a good deal because we couldn’t decide which one we wanted to try so we sample 3.

So many options for pizza but still do a wonderful simple cheese and sauce. I appreciate the shredded chicken vs grilled chicken options.
Staff is attentive and friendly, had great recommendations and really made us feel welcome. This place smells amazing and you can see the pizza oven from anywhere in the dining hall to watch for your food to be ready! The discount at Susie’s Sweets is a nice bonus to take something sweet home.

This review is for the Hampton location only! The Hampton one is consistently amazing with both food and staff! We have tried the Epping location twice and it just is not the same. The pizza taste different. It’s almost a different size as well. The service is very slow in both times our wait staff barely came back to check on us. Although it’s the same restaurant and I’m sure the same owner it is definitely different, which is sad because the Epping one is more convenient to go to.
We get sausage and red onion, amazing every time!

Community Oven has kept us coming back for years. Their crispy wood-fired crust, warm dining room, and lovely service have remained unchanged. Our waitress was quick and friendly. We’ve never had bad service here.

The ingredients are fresh with plenty of options. My favorite is the PPM (Pepperoni, Peppers, and Mushrooms) mainly because their pepperoni slices are gigantic and unique to this area. In addition to pizza, they also serve sandwiches, salads, and delicious appetizers. The spinach and artichoke dip is out of this world and possibly the best I have ever had.

Decent spot for Pizza but quite expensive for the quality. Service was super slow before we were even acknowledged for refreshments after a hot day. Soda bottle was warm. Nice bar and you can see where pizza is made. Their local brewery next door beer was good I tried the Pilsner just an expensive 7.5 for 1 draft.

Pizza Large Pepperoni and Small Cheese

Crust: inconsistent crunch or no crunch

Flop: Inconsistent floppy or no flop. I think the pizza needs to be turned more and cooked more evenly

Grease: Very Greasy

Ingredients: decent but they are definitely shy with toppings and sauce is very inconsistent.

Sauce: Barely any sauce on most slices. Slices with sauce were good but still needed a little more.

1 to 10 Pizza rating: 6.8 if it had more sauce easy 7

Stopped here for a quick dinner and had an excellent experience. Our waitress was exceptionally attentive and the food all came out in a timely manner.

Something the Community Oven did extremely well is the size of the tables. While not all the tables were the same size as ours, our table was very deep. Unlike other places that serve pizza where you’re eating on the edge of the table because the pies are taking up so much space in the middle, having the deeper table gives way more room to enjoy the meal.

Before our meal, we had the meatball appetizer. The meatballs were good, and covered in parm, but felt a little small for what they cost.

The pizza flight is an absolutely killer idea. We ordered the aloha, plain cheese, and buffalo chicken pies. They were all cooked perfectly and the dough was great. I have some critiques for the pizzas though. The plain cheese was good, but needed a little more sauce. The buffalo chicken was very good, but the tomato bits tasted heavily of garlic and overwhelmed everything else whenever I got one in a bite. The aloha was also very good, but the bbq sauce drizzle was a little overwhelming. It would be a small touch, but having a narrower nozzle bottle for bbq sauce for the smaller pies or drizzling less on the smaller pies would balance it out better with the more sparse room for toppings on these sizes.

Overall, the experience was very good and we will definitely return in the future. We left feeling very full after what we ordered and felt that the pizza flight was a good value. Safe to say this pizza, even with some of the things I would’ve changed, was still some of the best we’ve had in the area. We are glad we checked the community oven out, will recommend it to others when they’re in the area, and look forward to coming back again to try the thick and cheesy style pizza.

Place was clean. Big enough to accomodate large group. Nice decorations on the wall. Food was tasty but not exceptional. We ordered large pizza ( chicken, bacon, ranch ), chicken wings ( blazing buffalo ) with blue cheese…dessert special ( 2donuts and 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream on top )

Pizza was delicious but the s’mores dessert was not good at all, it was a cute idea and a nice setup but the marshmallows just melt into liquid.

We’ve given The Community Oven three chances, and unfortunately, the service has been consistently disappointing each time. The food itself is very good — the pizza and other dishes are delicious, and the bar area has a nice, comfortable atmosphere.

However, the service has been extremely slow every visit. We’ve had the same bartender each time during lunch hours (when it wasn’t busy), and she makes you feel like you’re bothering her just by being there. Her attitude and lack of attentiveness really take away from what could be a great experience.

After three identical experiences, it’s clear this isn’t just someone having a bad day — it’s a pattern. Unfortunately, because of that, we won’t be returning despite how good the food is.
