Go to the Commons if you want a nice view and calm environment. Service was great as well but sadly the steak was just ok and the grouper sandwhich was overly dry, a nice special house sauce would have done it justice. Portions are alright but the food could definitely be better for the price.

I had an amazing time at “The Commons” the restaurant was nice & the views were astonishing. The food was affordable and actually tasted as good as it looked. Plus my plate came out hot. I spent my birthday weekend here and I’m glad I chose this place. My waiter was “Sabrina” and she was a delightful young lady with high energy. I would definitely come back to visit again.

Didn’t even know it was on the stone Mountain premises. The views are outstanding and so is the service at the commons. But unfortunately, the restaurant needs a new roof and I got leaked on and it wasn’t even raining. Droplets of water hit me in the arm and I had to move and it was in two different spots right by the window, which has excellent views. They’re sitting outside and it is gorgeous. The waitresses and the folks who work and the restaurant are simply amazing. The food was pretty good. Presentation was gorgeous. Overall, I still give it a 5.

We went for dinner on a Saturday night & it was not busy at all. We had sweet tea (which was perfect!) & a craft beer. The fried green tomato appetizer was good, but not great. The salmon BLT was excellent and so were the fries. I ordered the grilled pork ribs & I could not tell that they ever touched a grill. They were also very tough and definitely did not fall off the bone. The southern slaw was good. Our waitress Gloria was wonderful & took great care of us. We got to choose our seat & got a table overlooking the outside dining area by the lake. The sun was setting and we would have had the sun in our eyes had we chose to sit outside at that time of day.

Edit: went back for lunch on a Friday this time and I had the salmon BLT and my friend had the shaved steak sandwich. Both were awesome! We had Gloria as our waitress again. And the sweet tea was still the best!

Ok…it’s just a bit hidden away but if you find it ( golf course inside Stone mountain Park ) please visit this restaurant . I don’t BS but if I brag…I brag.
The food and selection was great. I had a grilled chicken BLT with fries and great tasting southern sweet tea.. this is a mostly adult atmosphere. Screaming running kids..leave them at McDonalds. Atmosphere is great. You can eat inside or outside with great view of Stone Mountain.
As for the service….we’ve been there twice and twice our
hostesses have been outstanding an very professional. This is a great place that has to be on your list..
Brunch on Sundays and close at 5pm. Please don’t show up at 445pm and expect full service.. you want to leave your job in a timely manner too.

This place has great views of the lake and Stone Mountain, and, thankfully, the food pairs perfectly with the views. In fact, I’d say that guests of the Evergreen Lakeside Resort who are thinking of eating at one of the on-site eateries should make the short drive to this restaurant instead. While staying here for the weekend, the Commons had the best food I ate the entire time, easily. I had a chicken and pineapple kabob with asparagus and rice pilaf that was outstanding. It was grilled perfectly and had a nice balance of savory, sweet, and spicy. My wife had grilled salmon with the same sides, and the bite I got to sample was also textbook. It was seasoned well and cooked exactly how it should be. Overall, this spot was a treat.

Wonderful experience all around during our 4th of July weekend visit. Bar drinks were top tier. The fried green tomato appetizer was wonderful. I had the salmon blt and my husband had the grouper and we split both. My only complaint is we didn’t have room to try the dessert… it looked to die for. The restaurant was clean, everyone was pleasant and attentive. The view is second to none.

Always an enjoyable experience. Good food. Great and cheerful service. Nice restaurant inside and out. Great views if you sit outside. One of our go to restaurants. Check the hours of operation before you go. Also, since this restaurant is inside Stone Mountain park, you must have a seasonal pass or pay for daily entrance fee to the park to come here

Little hidden gem at the golf course at Stone Mountain. Pricey but totally worth it. The view is spectacular and the food is even better. We tried the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken, and fried pork ribs all of which was delicious. The strawberry pecan salad was so good it got my husband to eat fruit and veggies. For dessert we died and went to heaven after eating their banana bread pudding pie with bourbon ice cream. Our server, Gloria, was sweet and super helpful. Everything about our experience here was beyond our expectations and we’ll definitely be back.
