The coffee shop in Montrose is a great place to hang out. You can grab a coffee and read in one of our reading nooks or bring your laptop and sit at one of our six high top bars and work in a quiet atmosphere. We sell Christian literature for all ages including tons of Bibles, nonfiction and fiction books. Our goal is to be a place where the community can come and unplug together. We want you to bring your Bible study and your networking group. We’ve curated spaces for you to meet. We also have tea service for anybody who wants to be served tea in a really vintage teapot with beautiful teacups and pastries. Come check us out, we’ll have great coffee, great pastries and a great atmosphere!!

Things you might want to know before coming in – this is an overtly Christian coffee shop. There’s nothing wrong with that – it’s just not obvious from the listing on google or the exterior of the building.
The space was nice. The baked goods were phenomenal – I got a scone and it was out of this world. You should snag one when you come in!
Plenty of seating and free WiFi for those of us who work on the go. Outlets are accessible. Coffee was good and they offered unique flavors. Just wish the barista was a little more welcoming – I think she just had a long day and that’s fine.

I’m so glad to see a coffee shop open in this location again! I like what they’ve done with the space. It’s fun, warm, and has lots of comfy seating arrangements that feel like they invite cozy conversations or a good long reading/journaling session. Also the scones were amazing! I love their mission to fund a non-profit that blesses the community. Will definitely be back.

I was really excited to try this place after hearing about their opening, and I absolutely love the concept and vision behind it. The girl at the register was quick, efficient, and super informative — she let me know the scone was gluten free and answered everything I needed, which I really appreciated.
I ordered a Monarch iced latte. The coffee was good overall, though I personally prefer sweeter drinks. It was lightly sweetened, so now I know to ask for a little extra syrup next time. The espresso flavor came across a bit mild and slightly watered down, but nothing that couldn’t be easily adjusted.
The pastries, however, were amazing. The scone was genuinely one of the softest, fluffiest scones I’ve ever had, and the banana bread was delicious and clearly made in house.
The only slightly awkward part of my visit was at the bar. Things felt a little hectic, and there was some confusion with handing out items. I was given my scone and a goodbye before receiving the rest of my order, and there was a brief moment of uncertainty about what belonged to whom. I think a clearer system for calling out orders — or just a bit more breathing room as things settle — would really help minimize stress.
Overall, I can definitely see myself coming back, especially as they find their rhythm. They’ve only been open for a few days, and with how strong the pastries and concept already are, I’m excited to see how they grow.
