My husband and I are always looking for new restaurants in OKC, especially cuisine we don’t get to have often. We happened across The Clove and had to try it.
Guys, you are doing yourselves a disservice if you’ve not eaten there! The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was amazing (definitely worth the 5 stars), and the restaurant was clean and well appointed!
We had the chili momo, lamb vindaloo, chicken biriyani, and of course, some garlic naan and roti. My husband also had a mango lassi and I had their Darjeeling garden cocktail. Both were EXCELLENT. It’s honestly a must try!

Solid food for the setting. Chicken momos were well made and the orange garlic sauce carried real flavor, while the red sauce was mostly heat. The “biryani” reads more like biryani-style fried rice, tasty and filling but not a traditional dum biryani. That said, it works well for a bar-adjacent spot and casual crowd. I’d come back knowing what it’s aiming to be, not what the name suggests.

I visited this restaurant on Thanksgiving after a long time of wanting to try some outside food, and I was very disappointed. I ordered chicken chow mein and dumplings. The chow mein arrived within 2 minute, was completely cold, and had barely any chicken in it. When I asked for help, I was told someone would come back, but no one did. The dumplings were just okay.

Overall, the food quality and service were very poor. I would not recommend this place.

Really pretty good food. The service was a bit odd but overall it was fine. I would definitely return.

Good spices, tender meat, and overall solid flavors.

This is a good restaurant. I’m not sure why it wasn’t more busy. The service was fast. The staff were very friendly and professional. They were very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. All the food we ordered tasted great. Everything tasted freshly made and the ingredients also tasted fresh. There was a good selection of vegetarian dishes as well as dishes with chicken and seafood. Although the televisions were on, the noise level was very tolerable and conversations were easily held. I don’t recall hearing conversations from the other diners. This is a really good restaurant! I recommend it!

I recently dined at The Clove and had an exceptional experience. I ordered the goat curry, plain naan, garlic naan, and a mango lassi, and everything was absolutely delicious! The goat curry was perfectly spiced and tender, while the naan (both plain and garlic) was fresh, soft, and flavorful—perfect for scooping up the curry. The mango lassi was refreshing and the perfect balance of creamy and sweet.

What really stood out, besides the amazing food, was how affordable everything was, making it a great value for the quality. The service was prompt and friendly, and the ambiance of the restaurant was inviting. I highly recommend The Clove and will definitely be returning!

Would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves authentic and tasty Indian cuisine!

UPGRADED REVIEW: My original review was unfavorable but I returned a few days later and wow, what a difference.
Firstly, I would strongly recommend that you eat IN THE RESTAURANT. Don’t do take-out (this is obviously only my opinion).
The saag chicken was spectacular – a 10/10! It was hot (temperature), deliciously fragrant, spicy (spiced as much or little as you want), with the portion being very generous. The mango Kulfi ice cream was to die for. I was so stuffed when I finished. Thanks to Kay/Kai and server for the wonderful service. Again, go to the restaurant to eat, you won’t regret it!

Oh my! The Garlic Nana bread! The Mutton Momo! Chicken Spring rolls with mint ranch sauce! The Chicken Tikka Masala Curry with Garlic Nana!

All highly recommended!

That was some of the best Paneer Makhani I’ve ever had in my life. It was creamy and flavorful. The Chili Paneer also had the exact flavor profile I want. Those two dishes from The Clove reset my expectations for other restaurants moving forward.

A fresh tasting mango lassi, fragrant garlic naan, and kind service were just the cherry on top. I will certainly be coming back!
