I recently visited Cinnamon Indian Restaurant in Thetford, and I honestly couldn’t fault a single thing. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and relaxed — perfect for a lovely evening out.
The food was absolutely outstanding: full of flavour, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. Every dish tasted fresh, authentic, and perfectly spiced. You can really tell the chefs take pride in what they serve. Portions were generous, and everything arrived hot and on time.
The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the evening. Nothing was too much trouble, and their recommendations were spot on. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a great ambience that made the whole experience even better.
Overall, everything was perfect — from the service to the food to the atmosphere. Cinnamon has definitely become one of my favourite Indian restaurants in Thetford, and I’ll absolutely be returning again soon. Highly recommended!

Went here for dinner with friends. It’s not authentic Indian food, however I wouldn’t say food was very bad. Their food portion is too small for the price even compared to some of the big cities. I would avoid visiting this place again.

The food has been good in the past but this meal was very disappointing. Tarka daal was watery and tasteless, the chicken shashlik had little flavour, under seasoned and lacking spice. The garlic chilli chicken was uninspiring. Both chicken dishes did have good amounts of chicken. Even the onion bhajis were lacking in flavour.

Disappointed with this place, I was recommended. It took over 1 and half hours for the main food to come out from ordering and the place wasn’t even busy.
The rice was swimming in fat, yeah, what else can I say, not great at all!

Ordered three hours ago and were told it would be an hour – fine, no problem. An hour later we’re contacted that it’ll be late and they give us a new time. Okay, fine, it’s New Year’s Eve, it’s busy, things happen. Another hour passes and nothing. Attempt to call three times with no answer. No idea if our food is going to come or not. I understand that things take time and restaurants are busy but this is completely ridiculous.
Update: food arrived half an hour later – it was lukewarm but relatively tasty despite this. Still very annoyed at the time it took and the lack of communication. If you order from here, either go to the restaurant or pick up.

Saturday night, and we hadn’t booked a table. They were able to squeeze us in on the little table by door (which is in an awkward place. With door opening towards us) however we were thankfull as in less than 30mins the resturant was full to the brim with pre booked reservations and other walk in diners having to be turned away. Drinks are very reasonably priced. We enjoyed poppadoms (no green spicy dip but a new red dip I’ve not had before, not spicy though) a main each and a side each. The overall bill was cheap! We will be back again (with a pre-booked table) staff friendly and attentive

Had food delivered today over 1 hr late and had to argue on the phone to find out the food was still in the kitchen . It eventually arrived being stone cold and poor quality. My mixed grill had no other meat apart from one large chicken leg all bone no meat ! For 12.50 very disappointing! My wife meal was bland and had 4 chunks o f chicken and a watery sauce no flavour ! We will not be returning to use cinnamon and urge people to go else where .

Delivery time was acceptable — arrived within about an hour and a half, which is reasonable. Unfortunately, the food itself was disappointing. The portion sizes were quite small for the price, and the chicken korma was very bland. It had only a faint hint of korma flavour and was so watered down that it was runny and pooled on the plate, which completely killed what little flavour there was. The Bombay aloo was okay, but overall the meal didn’t live up to expectations.
