The Chop House on Main is very very nice. We like to go for special occasions. Tonight is New Year’s Eve. The restaurant is beautiful. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and shown right to our table. Within minutes our server Jesse T came and went over the menu and specials with us. Took our drink order and said he’d be right back with bread and 3 butters. Yum there was raspberry, balsamic and house whipped. We both had Ceasar salad for a starter amazing, love the shaved parmesan. My husband picked prime rib. I couldn’t decide between the fillet or Cajun Fillet medallions. Jesse suggested the Cajun medallions. I am glad I got them, cooked to a perfect med. great amount of spice. The shrimp were done and the pasta was cooked just how I like it with a creamy Cajun sauce. Just delicious. My husband loved his prime rib too. The service was great. Can’t wait for our next visit. Wonderful restaurant

Made a reservation a week in advance of valentines day, showed up 5 minutes before our 7:45 reservation. Then waited until 8:20 with no table before leaving. I have eaten at this restaurant many times and loved it. Its expensive so its a special treat. I am 7 months pregnant and was craving a steak dinner. Thought about it all week. Left without getting it. The two hostesses didnt even apologize. Did not seem to care at all about what was happening, were very rude to us. I loved this place, but will not be back. Ended up eating at arbys on valentines day. Thanks a lot chophouse.

I wish I could provide a review on the great food this restaurant used to sell, and I would, had my reservation been honored and I was able to eat it. After showing up 5 minutes early for a 7:45 reservation, I stood until 8:25 (a 45 minute wait is for a walk in in Outback Steakhouse, not a reservation at an allegedly classy restaurant) going from 4th in line, to 6th in line, to 4th in line, before finally deciding I have better things to do than stand around watching the people who were moved ahead of my reservation sit with no food or drink. I’m rather embarrassed for the staff of the Chop House for their inability to run a restaurant. Due to a previous visit where my food tasted like it was taken from an all you can eat buffet, and my experience tonight, I will no longer be giving the Chop House my patronage.

From start to finish, The Chop House on Main delivers a top-tier dining experience. The atmosphere is elegant without feeling stuffy, the service is attentive and warm, and the steaks are delicious, flavorful and satisfying. The Chop House was wonderful. Jesse was our server and he did a fabulous job! Very attentive and so delightful to chat with:) The foooood….The bread is soooo good – melt in your mouth!!! They give you 3 different butters to choose from – we liked the garlic butter. The surf & turf with our chosen sides – truffle fries and mushrooms was outstanding! The grilled salad was very good too! I would highly recommend the French onion soup as well – excellent. We shared a double chocolate slice of cake – rich & yummy.

This was our first time visiting. We went up for our wedding anniversary. The food tasted amazing. I had the loin with mashed potatoes and asparagus. My wife had the shrimp special. I also indulged on an 8oz glass of cabernet. Being our anniversary, they gifted us a well plated, lava cake, with a card signed by the staff!
The service was also great. Our waiter, Jesse/Jessie (not sure of the spelling) was very personable and knowledgeable. He checked in on us an appropriate amount of times as well. At one point, one manager asked us about our evening, which was nice.
The atmosphere is more modern with dim lit features and nice light fixtures. A couple of things that got me a bit would be the older tables that are just covered and some finishing work not being done around corners and lights. Being a fairly high-priced place to eat in the area, it also seemed weird that people in street clothes and ball caps were coming in for the bar.
Overall my wife and I had a great dinner and enjoyed ourselves. We will be back and urge you to visit!

If there was ever a “diamond in the rough” The Chop House on Main is it. I would hold a steak from here against a steak from any major city any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Absolutely tremendous. Modern atmosphere compliments the delicious food and welcoming staff. John’s strong arm, Carrie, was the bartender while I was there. Friendly and personable are the words I chose to describe her. The only strike I have against this place is the distance and it’s not their fault. Truly was worth the drive and will be again when I return to try their prime rib. Thank you for a tremendous time and food.
