Been here a couple of times. This time we stopped in after having dinner in the area. It’s a good experience but not outstanding. The staff did good job helping us out with our selection, and offering up their favorites.
It was 8:30 on Wednesday, we were the only ones there. They started cleaning up all around us, vacuuming and taking the rugs up. Definitely felt like we were in the way. So we hurried up without cups of ice cream and left.

I’m trying to find a place to send a message to the manager of the Pewaukee location but can’t find it. We enjoy the Chocolate Factory, even more so now that the beach crowds of summer are gone and we can get in the door. But, yesterday I ordered two subs online for pickup. No problem with that at all. The problem was when we unwrapped the subs at home. The multi-grain rolls were overbaked, to the point that there were black (burn) spots on them. It made them very dry and not enjoyable. We have never experienced this in the past. I hope someone will explain to the staff, if the rolls are over-baked, toss them and start over. Sorry to have to post a complaint.

This place is super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant/factory is clean and organized. The employees are well trained and ready to help with a smile. We stop here for dinner whenever we visit Pewaukee. (It’s not a candy store, as the name implies.) Right across the street from the water, it is a convenient place to get a tasty sub, fresh salad, or mouth-watering ice cream. We’ve had the delicious roast beef, turkey, and ham and cheese subs made with their fresh, lightly-crusted, Italian sub rolls. The oregano gives them a unique, pleasant flavor. And of course we get their delicious ice cream that comes in many flavors, such as Moose Tracks or Strawberry Cheesecake. Parking is on the street or at their spacious lot in the back. We look forward to our next meal there!

The food tastes amazing and the service is great. I was not happy about the portion/ price. My girlfriend and I ordered 1 sub each on a croissant and 1 small soda. The total was like just over $20. I was just really disappointed when I unwrapped it and it was extremely small. I mean my girlfriend who is a small eater was still hungry after eating it. I felt like it was a waste of money. For that to be worth it I wouldn’t have payed more than $11-$13.
