Sat in the main dining area. Was lively. Good vibe. There was another area that had dimmer lighting and was more quiet. We had to get out of that area. Felt like we were being punished. I ordered the steam which was top tier. Salad was great too. The cheese fries with crawfish appetizer was not good and wouldn’t recommend.

We started with salads. My caesar salad came out with hardly any dressing. Our waitress brought out some extra and I’m so glad I asked for more, because the dressing was so good!
I had the blackened chicken Alfredo. The chicken was really flavorful and cooked perfectly. The pasta and sauce could have used some spice or extra flavor but it was still good.
The mac and cheese was great and very flavorful!
My husband ordered the shrimp and grits and he was in heaven. He loved them!
The bread the dishes come with look like average bread but the bread was actually amazing! I’m so glad we made the stop here!

Our server Dylan g was on point! Very friendly and attentive even though they were super busy. The restaurant and outdoor seating area were very pretty. The food came out quickly and just like it should….finished our oysters (which were delicious) and our salads came out (salads were meh), finished our salads and our dinner came out. It was delicious! The seafood lasagna was loaded with seafood. The bread was delicious. Would definitely go back when we are in town again.

Finally decided to try The Chimes here in Lafayette. The property is impressive with a massive live oak shaded patio and a lovely bar and dining room with soaring ceilings and a rustic vibe. I was also really loved the large U shaped bar. We were seated immediately at 11 am on a Friday. Service was terrific- prompt and friendly. The food was all ao delicious! We tried the onion rings, crawfish mac-n-cheese, seafood lasagna, and the New Orleans style BBQ shrimp poboy. The crawfish mac-n-cheese was divine! The poboy was such a delight- perfect bread, shrimp, and sauce. It’s a sloppy one, but that’s how you know it’s good. Portions were large, so we left with lunch for the next day. Definitely a place that I want to try again and explore more of the menu.

Getting a table as a single person for dinner was easy. Service from Landon was amazing, he was very informative and kind. I had shrimp and grits, the grits are not traditional, they’re in a fried ball form but taste great, the presentation is a little different from average. Shrimp cooked wonderfully. Also had 1/2 dozen raw oysters. They didnt originally bring out horse radish so I requested it. It was the most intense I’ve ever eaten. Very bold and spicy, take it easy, even if youre used to scooping it on (you’ve been warned) . Ceasar salad was perfect serving. And I finished off with lava cake. Very creamy and gooey. Overall a lovely dinner. I will be back

Today I visited your establishment in Lafayette. I am an avid fan of the one in Covington, La. I have been going since they opened years ago. I am writing this review in regard to my experience with my server today. His name is Cameron. He is 21 years old in college and I am making sure that your establishment know how much I enjoyed and appreciated him serving me today. Such a remarkable young man.

Absolutely phenomenal! The Blackened Alligator was delicious, perfect flavor and excellent texture. The Pork Scallopini was perfect in every way. Salad was very fresh. I tried the Tabasco Pepper Jelly Vinaigrette for the first time ever, it’s delicious but very sweet – pro tip: add green Tabasco. The flavor combo is impressive.

Spacious layout. Great place to meet friends, family or clients. We got there close to opening and the tables nearly filled by noon. Recommend the burgers here, but they have a wide selection of menu items. The patio looks inviting but it can be mostly empty in the colder months.
