From what I gather this place just recently opened up. We got a flyer in the mail and my wife, kids, and I took a little stroll there tonight to try it out. My neighbor told us on our way over “it’s like Chipotle, but better”. She wasn’t lying!
First off, the restaurant is still “under construction”, but I’m not even going to deduct a star for that. The owners, a husband and wife duo were there, and they were awesome. Friendly, talkative, attentive. Fantastic customer service!
The place was clean, sans the things still in progress, and the interior was bright and up beat. The smells… oh the smells. Heavenly!
Now, the important part… the food. It was amazing. My wife got a “Southern Squealer” specialty burrito packed with braised beef and plenty of spicy veggies, rice and beans, and a sweet and spicy BBQ sauce that she hailed as “wonderful”. The kids split a quesadilla (it was huge, great portions), and some rice. I got a “normal” burrito. I wasn’t sure what meat to get, and they suggested Chroizo. Wow, man, all the flavors! It was great.
I have literally no negatives for this place. The price was as expected (two burritos, quesadilla, chips, side of rice, extra sour cream, $28). The service was outstanding, and the food was phenomenal.

I love this place and it’s delicious food. The owner is a wonderful and inspiring woman. The Facebook page is better for information though. Google has the wrong address name and no menu. Look up The Chilli Pepper Cantina on Facebook. You won’t regret a meal from here. Plus they deliver. Enjoy!
