The Chill Mill is perfectly named. Whether you’re watching the LSU game, shooting pool, or trying your hand at the ring-on-a-string game (IYKYK), the Chill Mill provides a relaxed vibe and made-from-scratch bar bites like the Lasagna Eggroll. The crowd is mostly local regulars but everyone was very inviting to the cast and crew of the movie we were shooting in town. (photos taken at closing)

We had the best time at Chill Mill after we arrived late in the night before a wedding. When we discovered all the restaurants closed at 10pm, Google led us to Chill Mill, the only place that appeared to serve food until midnight.
When we arrived, the kitchen was closed, but the owner kindly opened it back up. The chef personally came out to ask us how we liked the burgers cooked before making some of the best burgers we ever had.
They also offered a unique, fried green bean appetizer that was outstanding! Never had that before. Normally don’t eat fried food, but it was worth making an exception! :))
Simply could not be more grateful for such unexpected hospitality and great food. Much thanks to everybody for making a couple of tourists feel at home.

We went there last night, and they were not busy. My wife and I stood in front of the cash register for a long while, with no help to order some daiquiris, 1 bartender walked back and forth in front of us and never exnolaged we were there or asked if we wanted anything, the other bartender was making some shots, when she finished she called the other bartender over to her so they could drink the shots she made, so we left and went to a bar down the road for drinks, we will never go back there just to be ignored.

Highly recommend the jawbones. They are apparently free. Most places I’ve been to give bread, but it is pleasant surprise to get raw bones to gnaw on.
