Stopped here with my wife before calling it a night on our road trip home. We almost missed it but easily got turned around and found parking. We discovered a hidden local oasis. Surprisingly not overcrowded on Saturday night! A spacious open floor bar with a pool table, a few video games, TVs and plenty of open tables. Friendly staff and a great selection of food and drinks. A very clean place and a nice reprieve from the road. We stuck with good ol’ canned cola since we were driving a bit longer but they had a wide selection of that too!. We tried a couple appetizers, breaded cauliflower and pretzels with beer cheese, to go with our subs and fresh cut fries and were very pleased with the presentation and the taste of everything. My wife got the Cali Chicken and I got the French Dip. Both were nicely done and tasted delicious. The Au Jus was spot on. Having the option of fresh cut fries was an added bonus. Not to mention the affordable prices for the portions! This was easily enough food for two meals for us. On top of that, Lina, our waitress, was a hoot! She took great care of us even while still tending to a busy bar. We were very glad to have spotted this place and to take in the hospitality. It’s very family friendly from what I could see and it’s a relaxing atmosphere. It’s got that old bar vibe but the kitchen is very clean and modern. Definitely a place I hope to visit again on future road trips. I would highly recommend it, especially the French Dip. I could taste right away why it’s a local favorite there and was glad that was what I chose. If you happen to find yourself driving near there, stop in and check out. Your taste buds will thank you!

Well, we went for fish (first Friday of Lent, and they made food fish last time we were there). 1 bartender and 1 waitress (who was working her first shift ever). Went with another couple their food came fast, though not all of their food, after 25 mins we asked about ours. I was told their is only 1 cook it takes time. But we ordered at the same time and our friends had finished eating we had not received our yet. We were not the only ones. We witnessed customers leaving after 30-40 minutes. Not blaming the staff. The owners should staff accordingly. If you have a Lenten fish fry have enough staff to cook and serve it. A table of 6 was actually going into the kitchen to retrieve their own dinner plates they could see through the kitchen window. Customers were also bussing their own tables.

Pretty good food overall. Good service. Cold beer.. The people that come in are kinda obnoxious sometimes but you get that in every bar.. Pool tables, gambling machines, food, alcohol.. I would say your typical bar , nothing fancy but I’m sure they will have what ya want.. I’m sure I’ll visit again ☺️

place is a dump and so is the bartenders. it hasn’t been remodeled since the 70s or if ever by looks of it. that tarp covering the big hole in the roof does add some hillbilly charm though I’ll give it that…ummoh if you by chance become delusional and wonder into this blast from the methamphetamine past drink bottled beer cause the draft beer is warm n the busted down bartender looks like she hasn’t washed herself in years let alone a glass. and there ya have it…your welcome. your best bet is to keep on driving folks.
