Fun place, delicious food! My wife and I loved it. Many things on the menu had cherries and everything we tried was great. Service was friendly and effective. Turkey pie was not a typical pot pie but more like a stew with a biscuit on top. Very filling. Cherry pie was served warm. Lots of cherry related items (food and souvenirs) available in small store area. The family that run the business are rightly proud of their long history.

Love The Cherry Hut! I love all things vintage and loved the vibe of The Cherry Hut. I mean, Cherry Jerry is just the most welcoming mascot. I had the turkey dinner- full dinner style. It came with a beverage, delicious vegetables soup, a dinner salad, cinnamon roll, dinner roll, the entree (turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans), and finally a slice of cherry pie a la mode! It was a great value and everything was delicious! Especially the cherry pie! The staff were attentive and polite. Oh how I wish I lived closer to this gem. They have some gift shop items and I now have a few things with Cherry Jerry on it. I definitely recommend stopping here if in the area.

We have been traveling around Michigan for the week. We came across The Cherry Hut. We stopped for lunch. What a wonderful sweet surprise this was for all of us! The whole restaurant & shops are so quaint. Cherries everywhere. So cute. Everything I saw walking us looked delicious! Huge servings too it seemed. We tried a few dishes. Pictures included. I tried the Cherry chicken salad. It was delicious! So yummy. We had a piece of warm cherry pie with ice cream. Michigan is know for cherries after all. Everything was fabulous! Not a bad choice on the menu. They had the cutest shop. We picked out a Few items to take with us. So much fun!! Make this. a destination for your family soon!

Outstanding establishment that does not disappoint! The only people that should not go here are cherry haters, and I cannot imagine how that could be. There is a charming little store with dozens of cherry-themed merchandise items and foodstuffs, including jams, preserves and salsa. They also sell warm freshly made cherry pies. The aroma of the store is intoxicating. Our party of 5 adults HAD to eat the pie before our meal. We all agreed it was the best cherry pie we’ve ever had.
We were seated after a short wait. The restaurant was packed, as it should be. The menu is diverse and full of recipes involving cherries. We had everything from chicken strips to cherry chicken salad to cinnamon roll and turkey cranberry Havarti grilled sandwich. My wife ordered a spinach salad with sliced apples, pecans, bleu cheese and cherry vinaigrette dressing. She loves salads, and she claimed this was
the best she’s ever had! We also had cherry muffins (which we will have for breakfast in the morning) and cherry-ade to drink (nothing short of incredible).
Overall, one of the best experiences we’ve had on a Michigan vacation. We come to the Lake almost every summer for the last decade, but we hadn’t been to the Beulah area until this trip. We’ll be back…for sure!

Great restaurant. Service was great and their uniforms are cute to match the Cherry Hut decor. Food: this visit was just for dessert. Their cherry pie is amazing and the Cherry Brownie with ice cream is even better. Prior visit we did have lunch and it was very good and priced right. Can not wait to visit again.

The first visit a few years ago water from broccoli soaked my deep fried fish. Second visit, the bread on my rueben was so wet I could not pick it up without part of it falling off. Today’s visit, this is their idea of potatoes with gravy. We ordered 4 of these dinners. One of them had enough gravy to actually “see” it, the other three did not.
I LIVE here. I WANT to love the cherry hut so bad! My mom remembers coming here in her younger years. I waited to give a review hoping things would get better at this fun restaurant. The food tastes good! You just have to think about what could go wrong and ask them to avoid those things or add those things (like a proper amount of gravy) when placing your order. I really did not think I had to tell them to put enough gravy on our potatoes so we could actually taste it.

Great local restaurant! Food was very good – I had the Cherry Chicken Salad plate and the Cherry-Ade and both were delicious! Had to have the Cherry pie for dessert. My friend has various other dishes and everyone was very happy with the food quality.
Alex was a rockstar as our server. I’m particular when it comes to servers and she was outstanding! Great vibe and lots of history. Just the kind of local establishment you want to support!

Yummy diner style food with a cherry flare in the town of Beulah right next to crystal lake. Quaint atmosphere and cherry decor that is carried throughout your whole dinning experience. Prices are average. For a family of 5 it costed us a little over $100 for burgers/sandwiches with drinks and desert… nothing fancy. Would dine there again.

Haven’t been here since childhood but pretty much my favorite place when we were Up North. Ordered a gift box over the phone. Extremely Michigander polite young lady helps me through my dilemma picking the right gift for my mom. She was right, too btw. Anyway my order is shipped immediately. Arrived in a couple of days in Arizona. Just had some Pure Cherry Preserves. Wow!! Now I fully remember why I would beg the parents to take me to over to see Cherry Jerry for a peanut butter n cherry jelly sandwich. All of your products are amazing. The jams and pies are the best at this legendary Northern Michigan attraction. The customer service is outstanding like you’d expect from a small Michigan town.
