We showed up, no reservations, had only 45-50 minutes to eat and go to a show across the street…..they made it happen at a perfect pace! They were able to accommodate us last minute on a Friday night.
I wasn’t completely satisfied with my dinner, thought the pork was a little overcooked and tough, but it was beat flat as described and full of flavor, just wasn’t my thing.
My wife had the salmon and was completely satisfied! The held her leftovers for us till we came back from the show.
Awesome job..I can’t say enough!
Thank you all for pulling it together for us.
I’d give 10 stars!
We went to the restaurant for a bite to eat. It was a Tuesday afternoon (around 4:30). It wasn’t that busy & we were sat promptly. The wait staff were attentive & friendly. The drinks & food was good. I would definitely return to this restaurant.
Most recent visit was really bad. Was seated diagonally to a table of two adults and a young child. The child eventually commandeered the table directly next to mine and caused a lot of trouble.
Screaming, running around my table, falling down, throwing candle wear around, wiping boogers on the tables (not just their own), running around the restaurant etc. obviously this is not on the restaurant but what I’m saying is there definitely needed some sort of manager to come over and explain to the adults that the behavior was not OK.
Our waitress Didn’t offer to move us, Apologize, Or do anything to alleviate the situation.
Overall really poor understanding of what was going on by the restaurant. On top of it the food was especially mediocre this particular visit. Which makes a $70 bill for two hurt even more.
The service was great, staff all friendly and personable.
The food is a 10 out of 10. Im a big eggs benedict guy, get it for brunch just about every time we go out, and it’s on the menu. My eggs Benedict this afternoon was hands down the best i have ever had. My wife had the Chelsea scramble and my son the breakfast burrito, and both said their meals were perfect as well. If you’re looking for a cool, friendly, clean place for brunch, I will happen to be in the Fairfield area i highly recommended The Chelsea.
Can’t wat to go for dinner.
