Expansive menu of wide variety of American/fusion style dishes. The dessert menu with cheesecakes is huge too. The restaurant itself is big with numerous seating options. Plenty of staff to serve too. The food itself was nothing spectacular. Meatloaf was definitely a pleasant surprisingly good tho.

Stopped by for a meal and left incredibly full! The portions here are massive—definitely bring your appetite.

I ordered the Fish & Chips, which came with several large pieces of battered fish, a mountain of fries, coleslaw, and tartar sauce. The batter was crispy, though quite oily, which made it a bit heavy to finish. My wife had the Cuban Beef Sandwich, which was pressed perfectly and packed with flavor.

The highlights:

Portion Sizes: Huge. It was almost too much for one person, so consider sharing if you aren’t starving.

Value: Very reasonable prices for the amount of food you receive (before tip).

Drinks: We enjoyed the iced tea and lemonade; the sugar-rimmed glass was a nice touch.

Overall, the food was quite good, just be prepared for the richness and the oil! A solid spot in DC if you want a guaranteed large meal.

We had a nice dinner. It wasn’t the best but wasn’t bad either. I had the chicken parm pizza and she had the buffalo chicken appetizer. Our waitress was great but left us alone for a while longer than either of us liked. We had cheesecake for desert and it was amazing! As always! I had the Adam’s chocolate peanut butter and she had the pineapple upside down. I highly suggest the pineapple upside down cake cheesecake to anyone! It’s our favorite!
The restaurant was a little noisy but was very busy. Wasn’t a bad restaurant just a bit crowded and busy so it made it a little less desirable.

I have given this Cheese cake a bad review because of the host when we walked in was just rude and generally not a nice person. She should not be working at the front desk.

My issue was I needed to charge my phone and asked there was anywhere to plug in a charger and she just said no and rolled her eyes

The same staff member was showing another group to their table and another worker had his hands full of food and she would not move herself to allow him to pass.. she just rolled her eyes.
She should not work in hospitality

The staff member who waited our table was amazing. She answered questions and was so good to get our order in and checked up on the table a few times

The cheese burger was ok. Very basic

Salmon was good

Chicken burger was good

Spiced pumpkin desert we shared and it was enough given it was close to 2k calories

I’m not sure I would go to another Cheese Cake factory again after this visit. My last visit a few years back was the same. Staff working in restaurants don’t get paid much and rely on tips if the server gets a bad tip before they won’t give you 100% because they work hard for hardly nothing

From a price stand point this was a tourist trap being a large brand in the USA

But there are so many better options in the area. Before going check out the restaurants near the Caption One stadium
Much better options

I had an extremely disappointing experience at The Cheesecake Factory. The customer service was awful—our server, Anika B., was inattentive and provided very poor service. We waited a long time for assistance, received little to no attention, and when our food finally arrived, it was cold.

What made the experience even more upsetting was noticing that other guests around us were served hot food and received attentive, outstanding service, while we did not. The difference in treatment was very noticeable and left us feeling uncomfortable and overlooked.

Overall, this experience was frustrating and unacceptable, and it’s not what I expect from a restaurant of this reputation. We were also served with dirty dishes and utensils

We arrived as a group of 11 people, including 2 babies who needed high chairs and 3 young children.

We waited a long time at the entrance, with no designated waiting area. It was very inconvenient to stand at the door, right in the middle of staff and customer traffic. With children, the long wait made them very restless.

As soon as we were seated, we placed our order. The server asked if we wanted everything together or in stages. I clearly explained that I wanted the appetizer and the kids’ meals to come first, and that my husband’s and my meals could come later with the rest of the adults’ food. However, only the appetizer came first, and the kids’ meals arrived much later along with all the adult meals.

As a result, the children became increasingly impatient.

There was nothing available to entertain kids. I usually carry crayons with me, but when I asked for paper, I was told they didn’t have any. I ended up giving snacks I had brought in my bag to keep my three daughters from getting too hungry.

Amazing food, challenging with small kids

I truly love the food at The Cheesecake Factory and have always enjoyed going there. However, after becoming a mother, my perspective has changed. I’ve realized that, for me, it’s not the best place for very young children. Maybe it works better once they are around 5 years old.

We visited D.C. for 4 nights on a historical based family vacation. We are from Maine and were excited to see there was a Cheesecake Factory within walking distance of hotel as we dont have them in Maine. (YET ) Restaurant was clean and beautiful. I eat gluten free and was happy to see some GF options on the menu. We ate at roughly 8pm each night, restaurant was busy but we were sat quickly and service was smooth and timely. Everything we ordered, all 3 nights was delicious. Hubby still raves about the Chicken parmesean, so loved the orange chicken and double smash burger, the corn flour chicken taquitos were amazing, as well as the corn tortilla fish tacos 🙂

Hence why we ate here 3 or 4 nights

Our server on the 1st and second night 9.20.25 and 9.21.25 was NELSON. He was so awesome the 1st night that we just had to request his section on nights 2 and 3. (Sadly he wasn’t working the 3rd night.) He was upbeat, knowledgeable, attentive and just the sweetest. Nelson is a huge asset to the team and anyone who ends up in his section is in for a treat. He makes you forget your feet are killing u after a full day of walking 🙂

Everything about our experience was wonderful except maybe how dark it was. Being as myself and my husband are 50 reading a menu in the dark is really difficult- (we had to resort to the cel phone flashlight method) dead giveaway to our age.

If we make it to D.C. we will be back and we are very hopefully for a location in Maine.

While many visit for the full menu, the cheesecake remains the true star of the show. The sheer variety of flavors is impressive, ranging from classic original to inventive, layered combinations. Each slice is meticulously prepared with a rich, velvety texture that is consistently high-quality. My only critique is that the portions are so incredibly indulgent that they can be a bit overwhelming for one person; however, for a premium dessert experience, it remains a top-tier choice.

I visited The Cheesecake Factory and ordered the double cheeseburger it was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The portion size was generous, and the fries were crisp and hot, just the way they should be. The restaurant had a lively yet comfortable atmosphere, and the service was friendly and attentive without feeling rushed.

For dessert, I ordered the original cheesecake with strawberries, and it was the highlight of the meal smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet, with fresh strawberries adding the perfect balance. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience and a great place to enjoy both a hearty meal and a classic dessert.

Service was good l but took a while. My spicy chicken sandwich was all fried with a sliver of dried chicken. The burger was supposed to be medium but came out well done, as though it had been forgotten on the grill. Generally just a really disappointing meal. The Bloody Mary was ok.
