So, of course, I had to come here.
First time we came the chicken was all sold out and I cried in the parking lot.
This time they made extra so we had some.
I ordered the spicy chicken and the wife ordered the mild.
Extremely delicious!
Reminded me of the time when I lived in Korea.
Definitely coming back.

My new favorite Korean restaurant in town! It’s 100% self service, which I thought was pretty cool and convenient. It also means we don’t have to give tips lol. The food is very authentic and tasty. I def want to return and try other things on their menu!
Deliciousness!
The food is prepared fresh to order by the owners. You cannot beat this!
Every single dish we have ever had has been equally solid in quality, taste, nice and hot, and simply devious!
It’s a family run business with plenty of care and love into everything they do!
You will LOVE IT!
(Lastly, the tea was on point.)
I pulled up to Chum with modest expectations… and walked out a little emotional, a little full, and fully impressed.
This is the kind of meal that feels intentional — fresh, balanced, and rooted in real Korean comfort.
I ordered the bulgogi plate, and baby…
the flavors were harmonizing like a boardroom full of executives finally agreeing on a strategy.
Tender marinated beef, onions cooked just right, that crisp sesame-touched salad, and the banchan lineup — kimchi, cucumbers, and fish cake — all playing their position.
The rice? Steamed to perfection.
The dipping sauces? Quiet but powerful contributors.
The whole tray looked like somebody’s mama said, “We don’t send out nothing halfway.”
Chum feels like a place that respects its craft — clean, simple, quality-driven, no gimmicks.
A fresh addition to the city, and absolutely worth the visit if you love Korean food or you’re ready to branch out.
10/10 for flavor, value, and vibe.
I’ll be back — and next time, I’m bringing an appetite and a strategy for the entire menu. ✨
My brother and sister in law took me to The Chaum for lunch and WOW this place is incredible! The food was delicious, fresh, full of flavor and truly authentic. Every dish we tried tasted unique and well prepared. I have never had Korean cuisine like this in Augusta.
The dining room is clean, the ambiance is calm and the whole experience felt welcoming. It is exciting to see a new restaurant offering something different here. I am already looking forward to coming back and telling my friends about it.
Highly recommend checking this place out.
