Formerly Thielbar’s Store and Orcutt’s Supper Club, the Voegele’s are continuing the Channel’s tradition of offering great food, fun, and drinks in a friendly atmosphere. Special Events happen all the time from ATV Runs, to Sip and Paint Parties, Pool Leagues, and Horseshoes or Bags, there is always something going on. The Channel Inn features live music from the area’s finest musicians.

This is a neat find! Right on the river/channel. Friend told me we gotta try this place if we get a chance because the food has shown up on top ten lists in Minnesota, and everything on the menu and what we saw coming out of the kitchen looked and sounded delicious. We asked the bartender what they’re known for and everyone at the bar chimed in at once – all staying a different food LoL Everyone in there was awesome, and many told us they come regularly and all the food is just awesome. We decided to start with a homemade pizza because they’re also known for those. I took my mom because we both like exploring new food places and she said the pizza beats her favorite pizza joint that she always defends as the best and I never thought I’d see the day, HA! But yes, we intend to continually come back and explore the rest of that menu.
They also have what looks to be the biggest horseshoe competition field I’ve ever seen anywhere. I heard horseshoe leagues are a cool unique thing they’ve inspired there. And then they also had a sweet patio out back by the river as well as a fire with seating that was uniquely cool. I would definitely enjoy planning a night out with friends or family here!

I had a Build A Salad with steak bites. The mixed greens were outstanding and fresh, they use English Cucumbers. In my opinion it was better than Gary’s or Porterhouse, high end restaurants. Portion size was huge I took some home. Absolutely a must.

Excellent place to stop. My gf is kind of picky, but it her first time, even hearing of place. She wants to go back and take her kids too. Normally don’t take pics of food, but my fish sandwich, couldn’t pass up.

I can’t review the food because we waited over 1.5 hours and still did not receive our order. We were informed that they were short staffed, which we did take into account before leaving, but there was no follow-up on where our order was, and my wife had to get us water for our table. This was a Saturday afternoon lunch with the Ahlman’s shootout going on, so I’m not sure how prior staff planning was not taken into account. It did seem like the bar patrons were getting great service so unless you’re drinking, expect this type of service.

Not my favorite place in my area. Have not been. There for many years. They were doing bingo when arrived, the music was so loud when we arrived we ate outside with the smokers. Had the Channel Nachos. They were good, put think they might have forgot or ran out of cheese to top them with. Not super busy. Service was ok. Not really a Bar and Grill person. More Bar than Grill. It does serve the area.

We shared a good broasted chicken meal and a decent salad with the “good for you” greens, which I appreciate (vs just iceburg.) Service was good and they’re very courteous.
The outside definitely needs more character but well kept, the inside was nice, clean and it has an open, airy atmosphere. The acoustics were good and the volume of the TVs were at a nice level, not too loud.

Gathered for a Birthday celebration. Burgers, Pizza, and French dips were ordered and all were happy with their choices and some had to share a bite or half.

Had the bacon blue cheese burger with fresh cut fries. It was very good, the fries could have been crispier. Drinks were good. Service was great and very friendly. The concertina band was not too bad either. Would definitely stop here again.
