The food is really great i had puerco con chile verde and desebrada en rojo they are my best i didn’t like the chicharron that much. The restrooms are clean the place is clean smells really good on the diner. The place was empty i was the only one at the time the chairs were a little disorganized but the tables were clean.. i give it a 4 star because the staff never greeted me they were always on the back of the kitchen talking (comadriando-chismiando) food is so awesome wish they would work on costumer service

I rarely ever leave reviews but I had such a bad experience that I had to. Customer service is terrible here!!! They look at you like you’re a disturbance if you ask them for anything. They are extremely slow as well. I was given a certain time of when my order would be ready, and it wasn’t ready till over 30 minutes later. And the food didn’t even make up for the bad service. I had not been here in a very long time. The food used to be so good when it was doña Tota’s. Now I feel like it lacks so much flavor. Probably because the people working here are so unhappy!! I will not be eating from here again.

For mi 3 gorditas and 2 Oz of video is to expensive even with chussing difrent meat 14,$00 for that ??never again at lease add a little salad with rice then I believe you but 3 very small “gorditas” with nothing around it that mean 4 e/u ?? Customer service is kind of stiff and the food tasted pretty much plain. I was expecting more flavor out of the gorditas since it is a Mexican restaurant but I’ve tasted better. It was definitely not worth spending $20 for just me. Not coming here again for sure.

I don’t understand why I can substitute and get the beans instead of any of the food on the breakfast combo, but on the lunch combo you get one bean gordita , I’m all confused, I told one of the ladies to put beans in one gordita instead of the egg but hade no luck and wanted to charge me .80 per a spoon of beans on the side , get it together Dona Lula and give the customers what they want or take off the bean Gordita on the lunch combo so customers can understand your strategies.

Normally the food is great and they have alot of vegetarian options for those that don’t eat meat or red meats. But I went there today and placed an order to go and when I finally sat down to eat i found a hair in my food on one specific filling. When I called the store to let them know NOBODY was able to help me because NOBODY THERE SPOKE ENGLISH! it wont be the last time I go but the language barrier was a minus for me, especially when it comes to food safety. I hope nobody else goes thru this!

Food was whatever not really that good, had a bad experience with the staff, I paid for a Jamaica water but it wasn’t that good so I got up to get a fountain drink instead, I was stopped by staff and told that I could not get it because I paid for a agua Fresca and not a fountain drink and that with aguas Fresca there’s no refills I fell like they shoulda told me in the first place that aguas Frescas don’t include refills. I literally ate my food with no drink cause I wasn’t about to make another card payment for just a drink. This place was way better when it was Doña Tota, they weren’t pinching Pennie’s over fountain drinks.
