expansive draught selection with great prices and the Irish nachos were well proportioned and awesome! I do wish the corned beef was more of a shredded brisket than chopped but Ive only seen that one other time out of state, so I will still definitely be back to order it again. The ambiance is great and it really feels like some of the pubs Ive been to across the pond. I’m excited to come back and try more of the awesome menu items they have.

If you’re in Great Falls and looking for an establishment that combines local history, great food, and local culture, the Celtic Cowboy is a must-visit. Housed in a thoughtfully preserved historic building,  that’s part of a turn-of-the-century block, it’s a mix of old-world charm and a modern and creative menu.

The restaurant has an innovative menu with an Irish twist – the Celtic Reuben is made with corned beef and was my favorite, with the Celtic burger a close second. Don’t leave without trying the homemade bread pudding: it’s rich and enough for two.

The pub has an extensive lineup of beer and wine on draft, including one beer called Moose Drool, which might need two napkins.  Whether you’re into the classics or more funky local brews, the wide selection ensures you’ll find something you’ll like.  There’s a real Guinness slow pour available, which adds a lot of points. You’re a few blocks from the trail that runs along the Missouri River; this is a good place to wind up after a long hike.

They say you’re never more than a few blocks from an Irish Pub, and thank God for that! ☘️

Adam took exceptional care of us and the food was on point.

I highly recommend the Chicken Boxty!

We will return.

Great food and service. We mainly ordered appetizers and our food was out extremely fast. We have been waiting to catch the right performer there and it was one that I was able to research what music style they were playing. While they have/advertise musicals almost every single Friday, my biggest wish is that they were able to say what style (or artists) music they are playing.

Great food but we noticed an issue with their seat yourself arrangement. We were seated for at least 10 minutes before I had to call a waiter over to get our order started. Before you ask it, it was not busy and other people arrived after us and were being taken care of. Still love the food and atmosphere and will be back.

The gravy was so garlicly on my fries it made the dish inedible. I wanted to have drinks and play darts but the area was occupied the whole time by an employee doing computer work…i feel like customer space is not to be used as an office during business hours. The place has potential but is mismanaged. Bartender was excellent.

Stayed at Hotel Arvon so naturally we went next door to the Celtic Cowboy. It was a Friday and they had a guy playing a guitar. He was pretty good. Service was wonderful! For dinner we had Brussel sprouts to start. They were really good. Cooked perfectly and bacon and cheese. Yum! Then we shared the corned beef and cabbage cuz we love cabbage so we could resist. The corned beef was so tender and juicy. The cabbage was cooked perfectly! Gravy could be slightly thicker but the taste of it was great. If you like corned beef & cabbage then don’t shy away from this dish. You won’t be disappointed. For beer we had the half and half which I tied for the first time and I really liked it. For desert we had the Guinness chocolate cake. It was perfect! I recommend you share it cuz it’s a beast of a desert.

100/10, will be returning. I ordered an amaretto sour and the bartender asked me if I wanted an egg white in it. Nobody has asked me that in years.

Also, the potato pancake was better than my mother’s. I didn’t think that was possible.

Also, they have a ton of gluten free options.
