It was busy and short staffed on a Sunday, but one of the off-duty employees came in and jumped in: we received amazing service.
The restaurant is cute and has a nice view of the river in the back. The model train is cute! The desserts were fresh, homemade, and excellent! The rest of the food was quite good. I would give this place a stop if I was looking for food in Estacada.

Cozy yet refined environment with a strange arrogance. Staff was very friendly but didnt offer us other drinks besides water or if we wanted straws. The menu all sounded fantastic. Burgers were very disappointing. My elk burger tasted frozen, was dry and chewy with very little flavor other than the bland, overly sweet bacon jam. My fiancé was upset her burger crumbled more than the Bleu cheese that came on it with how dry it was. I can’t believe I paid an extra $2 for a spoonful of minced garlic and a couple parm shavings to be hastily slopped on top of my fries. Maybe this is more of a weekend dinner establishment but 1230 on a Saturday didnt seem to “out of prime dining” experience. The cazedor dip appetizer and the Pepsi were the highlights of the experience (fiancé wants to mention the cute cow booths too)

The food was great, & we loved the views & inside of the place, but the customer service overshadowed it. The experience was not good, due to lack of attention to detail. Waited up front with no acknowledgement.. stepped near the kitchen hall to flag someone down.. Our waitress was interrupted multiple times during our order, once by a customer who’d asked for something & not received it, and then once by another person helping with closing duties. No checks on drink refills. Then, I won a little on video lottery, took it to the bar to cash out, waiting over 5 min at the unattended bar before going back to try to find someone for help. The bartender was really rude about me looking for someone. I was shocked.. don’t think we’ll be back anytime soon.

Made reservations after getting a Christmas Tree with four branches of our family 10 minutes away from the restaurant. Food was alright but had a decent menu.
Most of us ordered fish & chips and fried chicken with tots and side salads. Fried batter wasn’t our favorite but everything else was good.
Bartender made good drinks and the server was good. Beautiful view of the Clackamas River. Bar atmosphere was awesome in my opinion. Has a rustic feel to it with spaced out seating. Nice looking place. Even has a miniature model of old Estacada which is awesome.
Would go there again to go to the bar for drinks and appetizers for sure. Spent about $67 for three of us to eat with 1 Bloody Mary each and a Strawberry Lemonade for my daughter.

I loved this place so much I just made a post about it encouraging other PEV riders to come take a trip out here 🙂 The huckleberry margaritas are freaking amazing and the bartender Sarah is super nice and hilarious. Jason made me the best Mac n’ Cheese + candied walnut salad I think I’ve ever had (seriously). The pulled pork is cooked to perfection and is crispy, not wet, and full of flavor. I highly recommend!

This place was recommended to us by an employee at Metzler Park campground and it was DELICIOUS! They honestly had the best prime rib I’ve ever tasted! We had a beautiful view of the bridge and the river, they have an extensive menu, and the service was fantastic. They had a large (but tiny scale) model of the area including a train that traveled around the the whole thing. We thought this was a very unique place and we were there for it. We camp at Metzler park often so I’m thrilled that we found a great place to eat nearby.
