The salad bar was absolutely above and beyond. Had so many different things on there. It was fulfilling just for the salad bar, then the steak. Ohh, my goodness They cooked it so good. And they’re famous hot sauce for the chips was smoked. And it was wonderful, got to try this place out.

I can not remember the last time I went to a restaurant and EVERYTHING was this good. Everything we ordered was perfect and taste was incredible. The building is so neat and interesting with some beautiful artwork and beautiful antiques in the foyer. Service was fast, friendly and just the right amount of attention. Even their after dinner mints were excellent. We will definitely be back.

20.99 that’s a 21$ cheese burger with “everything” no mustard no mayo to pickles tomato or lettuce then after I asked my waitress brought me a plate with condiments on it so I could finish making my own burger. Ordered it well done thank god cause it was barley medium rare. Pink center, bloody. Idc what they recommend it’s cooked at I ordered what I preferred. This place is on its way to get someone food poisoning. Like my co worker, the next day who had to leave work she was so sick. That and the drinks are full of ice with barely anything in them. Free refills? Not whiskey. My waitress also called my friend rude to another worker for going to the kitchen window to ask for my condiments after we had asked her twice and waited for 10 minutes for some. Next time I’m eat at the gas station down the street.

This was our first time for breakfast and it did not disappoint. The eggs were done perfectly, the bacon had the right amount of crisp, the tex-mex potatoes were so so yummy. Then the pancakes… They were the perfect size, they were pillowy soft the flavor was amazing, the perfect amount of crisp around the edges. So good you can eat them without syrup.

We try to eat at the Cattle Exchange Restaurant whenever we are visiting Canadian, Texas. The food is very good and unique. The service is friendly and efficient. The restaurant has a unique appearance and ambiance to it, having been an actual cattle exchange in times past. Even the location is unique since it is located on the first floor of the historic Moody Hotel.

Arrive hungry. Save room for Dessert. Try the Mountain Oysters for sure. Best crunchy calf fries. Be sure to return the howdy and big smiles. We all love the phone booth and authentic Cattle Man ambiance. After your meal take a walk on the Historical Canadian TX Cattle bridge.

A nice Sunday day trip ended us up here for a late lunch. It was the best mountain oysters I have ever gotten anywhere except for homemade ones. And grilled squash over a wood fire was the best ever too. My husband had the country fried fish & said it was amazing too. We will make another trip just to eat there! Super nice & clean inside & the bathrooms r so clean too! We had a great waitress too. Just a great dining experience!

The Cattle Exchange is a neat restaurant in an historic hotel in Canadian. We stopped for lunch and started with the chips and white queso. We all liked the flavor of both the salsa and queso. I had the Big Beef Burrito. Overall, the meal was good. Mrs. Flip Out had the fish tacos and she said they were good. Little Flip Out and Littlest Flip Out seemed to enjoy their food. Neat atmosphere and friendly service!

Way overpriced for good food. However the food is at best, POOR. Worst of all, The Service,is Bad! Don’t forget about ordering like you are @ McDonald’s. The very first thing in the experience is you pay for what ever you’re going to eat. Overall bad experience!!!
