The place is welcoming and clean. We sat in a booth towards back, it was comfortable and quiet.
Our server was amazing, very attentive and friendly. He constantly checked on us to make sure we didn’t need anything without overdoing it.
My boyfriend had the carne asada with frijoles charros and rice. He got flour and corn tortillas, we were happy to see that the yellow corn tortillas were a more authentic version than you typically see in mexican restaurants and they had great flavor. He enjoyed his meal, everything had great flavor and portions were reasonable.
I had the salsa verde chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. The chicken was flavorful and moist and the green salsa had a kick to it but overall it was a great meal. My kid had fried and a quesadilla, properly portioned and fresh. I was glad to see that the fries weren’t overly salted.
We did have a guacamole and queso blanco, both were fresh and the chips were served warm.
I recommend this spot for authentic Mexican food. I can’t wait to come back with the rest of my family and try something new from the menu.

Stumbled upon this gem and have to say, we were surprised.
The stuffed jalapeños and flautas were and the fajitas were perfectly cooked. They took any modifications we wanted and made it happen! Wonderful family owned restaurant would def return.
Feedback for the owners would be to improve the consistency of the queso. It was a little runny but the taste was good.

Had the enchiladas and they were SO good. The tortillas were soft, the filling was flavorful, and the sauce had the perfect balance of spice without being overpowering. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The rice and beans were solid too. Great portions for the price and the service was friendly and quick. Definitely coming back to try more of the menu.

First visit was in January. They were obviously still getting up to speed. There were 5 of us to be served. The food was a little slow coming out but not too much so. Everything was hot, prepared the way requested, and most importantly Tasted Great!
Me and my daughter went back yesterday, Monday late afternoon. It was just beginning to be busy. The waiter was prompt bringing our drinks and taking the orders. Our food was served in a short time. Once again everything was savory! The waiter (and even one of the cooks) checked on us frequently. We had a very pleasant experience and will return soon.

We had a group of 12 and the service was a tad slow but otherwise great. I was impressed by our waiter who went over and above to help an 85 year old lady to her car and even put her walker in to the back. Food was great! I hope more people will check out this place

Super clean place and delicious authentic Mexican food. I ordered the Frijoles Rancheros soup, which was delicious, maybe it needed a bit of salt but that is just for my taste. I also had the Enchiladas Mineras, and oh my, they were excellent. Rarely are you served hot (temperature wise) food nowadays at a restaurant but let me tell you, this is truly the exception. And the flavor, just wow!

Swung by today for a pickup order and I was thoroughly impressed by the food. Not only were the employees extremely welcoming, but the food is some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The chips and salsa tasted fresh and had just the right amount of spice and the beef street tacos were absolutely to die for! I will definitely be a returning customer!!!

Top notch service! Multiple people checked in throughout the dining experience! Food was tasty and relatively cheap! Normally I don’t order refried beans but decided to try it along with the flautas and I was pleasantly surprised by both! Would absolutely recommend! Looking forward to coming back to try the breakfast menu

First time trying The Casita Mexican Grill in Allen but it definitely will not be my last. The food was excellent. I had enchiladas and my husband had flautas. Please try them. You will not be disappointed.
