The Carriage Wine and Market is a fabulously charming wine bar and bottle shop.
It’s an eclectic and intimate spot sure to please anyone whether you’re out with friends, on a date, or out enjoying the finer things in life by yourself.

The Carriage is beautifully decorated,
I’m in love with the peacock wallpaper!
The ornate furnishings exude sophistication while providing luxurious comfort both inside and outside on the patio!

The wine list is passionately curated, generously poured, and paired with delicious snacks worth indulging in.

If wine isn’t your thing, there’s also a nice selection of beer, champagne, and other cocktails to choose from.

I recommend trying the new Pineapple Snap Spritz made with Renegade Lemonade Lemon Wine. It’s the perfect summertime refresher.

The bartenders (Lacy and Brendon) were wonderful!!! They were great company tonight and gave me plenty of well-needed laughs! They also accommodated my drinking preferences by making me the most perfect, delicious, non-alcoholic margarita (shout-out to Casey for the help too)!!!! I’ll definitely be coming back very soon to The Carriage for more drinks and laughs!

My sister, brother and I stopped in Oct 17 while in town for a mini family reunion. Happily, we snagged the last bottle of Seghesio and a bottle of Angels and Cowboys. Brandon was so friendly and helpful! We three moved from Florence (to FL and CO) many years ago and he filled us in on the downtown progress. We will definitely come back to visit and stop back in because of Brandon and this charming establishment. Cheers!

Go here if you want to love your life! I have main character energy any time I walk into The Carriage. It is a quiet spot to read a book, taste some wine and cheese, and catch up with friends. Their revolving menu means you can always try something new. Staff are quick and friendly. I even got honey in my hair and they helped me get it out!! I promise I only had one beer, just a clumsy eater. In addition to the bar, they have a huge selection of wine and gourmet food you can shop if you want to pick up something to take home. It is one of my favorite watering holes in Florence

We’ve been frequenting The Carriage since 2019. It’s easily our favorite local bar! The bartenders and owners are friendly and knowledgeable, so if you’re uncomfortable with selecting a wine or unsure of what you’d like, they can easily help you find something! They have a large variety of wines – trust me, you’ll find something you love! Try the seasonal slush for sure. They also offer delicious bar snacks (dips, boards, caviar). It’s located perfectly in downtown Florence, with a cozy atmosphere indoor and out. You can grab purple cups to venture around local events with, or stay and enjoy the conversation!

Very nice little wine bar. Bottle selection is good. Bartenders are friendly. Great location. Choice of wines to serve by the glass is limited, and prices seem high. Otherwise, a nice place to stop for a drink.

We travel extensively, and bring back wine from Napa and all over the world. This wine shop could hold its own in any big city.

Edward has a great knowledge of vino culture and isn’t afraid to express an opinion. Steered us right to the good stuff

Mark does yeoman work at the bar. Friendly and knowledgeable.

Our new in place when we visit Florence…Italy or Alabama

I was visiting Florence and happened to stumble upon this place. I sat and worked for a few hours earlier in the day (slow hours) and Brandon was amazing! He made me a their version of an Espresso Martini, and gave me great white wine recs! They were all delicious. Just the right amount of conversation as well. I didn’t love the small child running around, but hey, family owned business from what I gathered, so I get it. I hope to come back the next time I’m in town.

The bar plus wine shop is a fun combo! The menu was smaller than I expected but the wine cocktails were fun, I had the watermelon mint spritz. We also did a white wine flight and tried the truffle mousse, which was more like a pâté texture wise. The shop was well laid out and staff was super friendly and helpful with answering our questions and recommending some specific bottles.
