Reviews
Of me, money well spent!
Environment
The main dining area is beautiful; however, we were seated in a private area, likely because the main room was full. Getting there felt awkward and confusing. The staff member who escorted us walked ahead without checking back, and at one point we genuinely wondered if we were headed toward the kitchen. As first-time guests, a bit more attentiveness would have made a big difference.
The private area sounded nice in theory, but in reality it was quite uncomfortable. A loud group seated nearby made it difficult to relax or even hear ourselves think. On top of that, there appeared to be an issue with the air conditioning at times the room felt uncomfortably hot. Because of this, we ultimately decided not to order dessert.
Service
Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable, and we appreciated his recommendations. However, the pacing of service was very slow. It took about 10 minutes for him to return to take our order, and another 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive.
One small but noticeable detail: while most staff were dressed in suits, many were wearing black sneakers. While we understand the practicality, at this price point and level of dining, we expected footwear that better matched a fine-dining experience.
Food
We ordered the dry-aged NY strip with Courvoisier cream. While the steak was cooked to our requested temperature, it lacked seasoning and flavor. There was no noticeable cream sauce at all, not even a hint. For a dish at this level, we expected much more depth and execution.
Overall, we truly wanted to love this experience, and we recognize the effort behind the concept. However, given the cost and reputation, the experience did not meet our expectations. We hope this feedback is helpful, as we believe with attention to these details, the experience could be greatly improved.
