Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant’s on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille’s wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 – 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. Absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we walked in and grabbed a drink at the bar—a French 75 made by Amanda (highly recommend it, along with her bubbly personality!)—the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
Our waiter, James, was experienced, engaging, and a true joy to be around, making the entire dining experience flawless from start to finish. The steak was cooked to perfection—exceptionally tender and bursting with flavor—and the sides were just as impressive.
We enjoyed a bottle of the legendary Mercury Head wine, which the manager, Dan Skewers, personally brought over and decanted while sharing his appreciation and knowledge of the wine. That personal touch truly elevated the evening.
You can tell this restaurant cares deeply about quality, consistency, and the overall guest experience. As a self-proclaimed foodie who has dined at some of the finest Michelin- and James Beard–recognized establishments, I can confidently say this Capital Grille is on par with the very best I’ve ever had. Dan, the head chef, and their outstanding team are clearly the reason why.

We celebrated Thanksgiving at The Capital Grille this year, and both my husband and my son truly enjoyed the Thanksgiving meal. They said everything was wonderful and perfectly prepared.
I, however, stayed loyal to my favorites and ordered my usual steak, cooked exactly the way I love it, along with their signature mushrooms and asparagus.
I’m sorry I didn’t get to photograph my steak untouched, as always, I dove right into it the moment it arrived ;)) That’s just how delicious it is every single time!
And of course, we finished the evening with my favorite desserts, which are always the perfect ending to any dinner here.
As always, The Capital Grille impressed us with its warm atmosphere and exceptional service. I feel incredibly comfortable every time I’m here, thanks to the entire staff from the Front Desk to our wonderful servers.

Company Lunch! What a great experience! Most amazing restaurant I have ever experienced. Best place to go to if you ever want fine dining and smooth relaxing jazz. As well as the food which is the most impressive and important part of the experience. I got the roasted chicken and it was cooked perfectly melt in your mouth perfect and the truffle fries were crispy delicious no sauce needed I recommend them without any sauce so you get full flavor. For dessert I got the classic cheesecake and the waiter Williams not lying when he said he works there for that, it is the best cheesecake you will ever have especially if you eat it with the berries. 10/10 experience will be coming back soon.

Lana and the staff working on 10/14/25 need a million five stars!!! My husband and I decided to come here for our anniversary and it happened to be the day we got the results for our first baby’s gender! We thought it would be lovely to do a fun and intimate gender reveal while at our dinner. The entire staff was SO excited to make the night memorable for us. They made boy and girl cards to put by their name tags for which they thought it would be. I’m not kidding, everyone had their guesses displayed proudly in the entire restaurant! It was a night full of anticipation and funny tricks to make us think it was “happening!” They finally surprised us with a cocktail and mocktail poured PINK! They were truly so excited to make the experience great for us. I can’t wait to bring our little girl back for her first fancy dinner. Thank you, everyone!! Especially to Lana- you are the BEST!!

I wish I could have given more stars!! Our dinner was amazing! Erick, our server was so nice and professional! We couldn’t have imagined having Thanksgiving there, but it was scrumptious. The sweet potato soufflé, brioche stuffing and the best green beans I’ve ever eaten!! It’s more than delicious food, the service, even in a crazy busy holiday was fantastic and that is what makes Capitol Grille special, but also great for any meal!! Had to show the yummy brown sweet bread served with unsalted butter that is a bonus!!!mmmmmmm! Desserts included an Expresso cake to die for!! OMG!!! Get it!!! Her timing was perfect — drinks were refilled without us even having to ask, and each course came out smoothly and at just the right pace. She checked in just enough to make sure everything was perfect without ever being intrusive.

We were there this past Saturday night to celebrate with some friends. We were seated with our favorite server, Anthony Ruiz. He was so excited to see us back. Anthony is absolutely the best server we have ever had, not just a CG, but of any place we have eaten over the many years. He is just so genuine, friendly, fun and an absolute joy to be with. Thank you Anthony for making our night exceptional and we look forward to seeing you again soon! The food was amazing as always. Steaks cooked to perfection, sides piping hot and delicious. Desserts was over-the-top mouth watering. We love this place…can you tell?! LOL
