From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was warm and accommodating. They seated us in a section where our whole family fit comfortably and the stroller wasn’t an issue at all. Jose and the rest of the team were incredibly attentive throughout the evening.
When they learned our baby was only three weeks old, Jose surprised us with the cutest bib and even brought out a dessert to celebrate his birth. Such a thoughtful gesture that made the night extra special.
Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we would absolutely return to this location without hesitation!
Our favorites are the Porcini rubbed ribeye, sesame tuna, French onion soup, and lobster Mac cheese. The steaks are always well cooked and flavorful. People say you shouldn’t order seafood at a steak restaurant but their tuna steaks are well prepared and tasty to eat with the sauces. The only miss with the tuna dish is the poorly cooked rice. I’ve had that dish more than a dozen times and the rice has never been cooked properly.
The wait staff here are experienced professionals that aim to please. Anytime that we had asked for a little something different, they would find ways to accommodate. One time, we missed having a salad that was no longer on the menu but our waiter worked with the kitchen to create a version of that salad. Service is a big part of the dining experience and they understand that here.
Heard this was one of the best values for a Dine Out menu, so my friends and I recently came in for a birthday dinner. Even on a Monday evening, the dining room was packed, but they still took the time to sprinkle our table with confetti before seating us.
The Dine Out appetizer list was heavy on salads, so we added the lobster and crab cake. Solid flavors, but there wasn’t much lobster to speak of, so it felt more like a standard crab cake. The wedge salad, on the other hand, was surprisingly satisfying. It came out smothered in blue cheese dressing, which I appreciate in a steakhouse salad.
All steak entrées required a $12 upgrade, but it was well worth it. Portions were the same size as the regular menu, and my 18oz NY strip was much larger than expected. Because of its thickness, some bites were closer to rare, while some were slightly overcooked. The Kona crust added a smoky note, but it leaned a bit bitter. Sides of mashed potatoes and spinach were included and both were excellent.
For dessert, both the flourless espresso cake and the Capital Grille cheesecake were solid. I thought I’d prefer the cheesecake, but the espresso cake was slightly more satisfying.
Service is exceptional. Everyone was professional and made us comfortable to enjoy the time there.
We had half shell oyster, steak tartar, and surf & turf. I would not say everything was outstanding, but great enough to satisfy various appetites.
The issue was the steak; we ordered rare tenderloin since the non-fatty part is tend to be tender and better when served better for me. However, the steak came out as well done… Thankfully the server asked kitchen for another one, but the new one also came out to be well done… To be specific, there are two pieces which one of them was rare but the other one was well done. Manager came and apologized for what happened. Their response to what happened was great otherwise I would give them 2 or 3 start. I will definitely visit again soon and hopefully we don’t face the same problem 🙂
She offered to replace a new steak for me even though I said we were fine with the steak. She wanted to ensure that we were 100% satisfied with the food. Even the manager came over to our table to apologize for the food that didn’t meet our expectation. The service exceeded my expectation.
