It was on the opposite side of town but worth the walk . Seating inside was small & busy so we sat outside – picnic tables were set up. Greeted by our sever – who was wearing a cameo (red) onesie (should have taken a picture)…She took our drink & breakfast order. Drinks & food arrived timely. Super impressed with glassware & drinks were tasty. Steak Eggs Benedict was yummy, well priced and a great choice. The normal Eggs Benedict (bacon) was also tasty. We will be heading back to Virginia City with family & friends & will definitely be stopping by

We tried the corned beef hash version; the pastry is light and flaky, the filling is abundant and very tasty. Just scrumptious!

Service was poor, long wait, incorrect order, undercooked food and bad ingredients. Don’t believe the high rating.
Reviews on here are likely from people in the town with low expectations since there is little to no reception in town for people to write a review while they are mad. I would give this place a zero or lower if possible.
The waitress was new and had some issues, but the other waitress was really coming down on her, which didn’t help. My family ordered hot chocolate, coffee, water and omelettes.
We promptly we delivered a glass of ice that was never filled. After almost half an hour in the cold we got our coffee and chocolate. The hot chocolate was excellent but the coffee was sub-par. Another few minutes and we received our omelettes. Two of which were completely raw in the middle and looked more like scrambled eggs. We also received the incorrect sides.
Another 10 minutes and we got new omelettes and correct sides. This time they were completely over done and had the wrong fillings. After trying a bite we determined something was wrong. It tasted bland and like something had spoiled.
After letting the waitress know (the experienced one) she started bargaining with us on how much we should pay for the food that we refused to eat.
After paying she made a remark about the new waitress again and we said the issue was mainly with the cook. She said he is Scottish and cooks things less than Americans do.
I’ve never had such a terrible experience at a diner.

Good food, but we were told that the chef does not allow the servers to ask how you want your steak how you want your eggs. He believes he knows best. Service was definitely slow it wasn’t overly packed. Not a 5☆ 4 at best

Wife and I wanted some good breakfast. This place did not disappoint. The food was amazing, and the staff was very friendly. We loved the artwork on the walls and the unique salt and pepper shaker holders at the table.

Wow! Small menu with HUGE flavor. Steak Benedict was a treat. Beautiful crust on the steak and egg was poached well. They even have a smooth tasting Absinthe on hand if you wanted to try for the first time. (Picture provided)

This shows it’s temporarily closed but we were there two days ago and it was delicious. Seems like it was a Mom and her son running the operation. She cooked and he served. When seated he told us it would be a bit as he didn’t want to overwhelm the kitchen and we were fine with that. We say out on the patio with our dogs and enjoyed the view and a soda. Our order was taken after about 10-15 minutes and took a bit to come out but wow, so worth waiting for. We had the cider bread and the spaghetti and meat sauce. All of it was beyond our expectations for a small cafe.
