It’s clean .seat in the bar is full but dining room is available.huge serving for nachos grande but 8 mins home the cheese already solidified on the nachos grande and ordered chicken garlic parm they did not really toom time to.mix the sauce on the chicken which would have been fine if they placed it in a tub container I stead of just the styro and not over the chicken so it’s hard t ok get that little a sauce to cover the chicken when it’s at the bottom . So chicken by itself that did not touch the sauce is just a fried chicken wing with no seasoning and was relying on the sauce. see the pic.nacho grande though is grande as seen in picture. Still good food just would have been better.

I miss The Cantina so much! During my stay in town I ate at The Cantina almost every night. Outstanding food (keep your eye on the specials board), margaritas with flavor (the bartenders and servers are super friendly) and just the right punch, and of course the friendly and generous Hernandez family who go out of their way to create a great dining experience. If you’re in the Schuylkill Haven/Adamsdale/Blue Mountain area of PA, make The Cantina a definite stop!

We’ve been there three times in last month so it must not be horrible. First time they forgot our beans and rice. The owner was sweet and wanted us to give her a try again so gave us $10 credit towards next order. We ordered the next day !! I will say we ordered take out and I would not order anything fried unless eating at restaurant. The taco were good, but I didn’t feel $13 good.. and they are heavily seasoned so hopefully you like the seasoning . We will continue to go and try different things. So far our favorite is the fiesta quesadilla .

I’m from out of town and the family wanted to take us here. I was expecting the usual Mexican restaurant but it certainly wasn’t just that, it was brightly lit, clean, and actually a family friendly restaurant with both a Mexican menu AND an American Grill style menu, something for everyone. The food portions were enormous but the prices weren’t. Lots of parking, walking ramps for my senior dad, and great waitresses who made sure we always had what we needed. Definitly check this place out!

the bartender was really nice to me she greeted me with a smile i was just picking up my order and it was not done uet and she offered me a drink a couple times. and the food was amazing i couldnt even finish it all. if i could give a 10 star i would i have no complaints.i have been staying upstairs and here on a work assignment and i been here a whole month and i was like let me try it and so far one of the best restaurants i tried around here. i am so glad that i gave it a try thanks for the delicious meal.

It was my first time here, and the atmosphere was nice but crazy. The waitstaff were excellent, but the place was extremely crowded. The food was decent, and the dessert was good.

I got the chipotle chicken with pasta, my oldest got the burrito, my youngest the spicy chicken quesadilla, and my wife the crab cakes. The crab cakes were excellent, was a little jealous I didn’t get them myself. The burrito was very good and you got so much. My daughter loves burritos and gets them often, so if she says it’s good, I believe her, although I tried a fork full. The Chicken quesadilla was disappointing, wasn’t spicy at all, and a little greasy. My chicken and pasta, though not what I expected, was very good. They also give you a nice salad with the meals as well. I’m planning on going back to keep trying different actual Mexican meals. I do agree that maybe you guys need another entrance or waiting area. It’s a little bit congested right next to the bar. The service was excellent and overall I can see why they are always busy.
MAKE RESERVATIONS, because of this we had a very short wait. You would be amazed how many restaurants around here don’t take reservations anymore and make you wait.
Oh yeah, they also have a nice selection of Mexican beers as well, maybe next time.

Burritos were awesome-full of meat and rice. It took me two meals to finish it all! Draft beer is cold. Service was moderately rushed, but understandable as the place was packed. The server seemed to be a bit frazzled and had all of the drink specials written on a piece of notepaper, but she did really well and it didn’t hinder our experience at all. We will be back.

I am so happy I finally found a place that has SOLID tacos nearby with a solid Guacamole as well. Super Friendly staff, clean…. Highly recommended! I would try the dessert but I’m so full rn I can’t breathe properly.

This place smelled bad. I could smell it as soon as I walked in. I should have walked right back out. My 12 year old son and I were sat right next to a large table of loud, drunk people. I ordered the special- fish tacos. It was made with a burnt fried cod of fish. It was the worst version of a fish taco that I ever had. The rice was hard and flavorless. I will never return again and I wish I never went to begin with. I don’t work hard to spend my money on such disappointment. It’s not the waitress’ fault. She was nice.
