I wanted to get something to eat after work to wait out traffic so I stopped by this place. I sat in the outside area and enjoyed the nice view. Service was great and I enjoyed the food. I ordered the Ceasar Salad with chicken and a side order of truffle fries. Make sure to try the truffle sauce with the fries it was really good. I am definitely going to go back!

I recently dined at Verde Bar Restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. I started with their tomato soup, my personal favorite, which was simply exquisite. For my main course, I indulged in the chef’s specialty, a mushroom and beef hamburger, which was a heavenly blend of flavors. Additionally, I sampled their classic chicken Caesar salad, and it was a refreshing and tasty choice. The overall dining experience at Verde Bar Restaurant was fantastic, and I highly recommend it for a satisfying meal with great options for all tastes.

Haven’t been back to this mall/restaurant since pandemic. Husband and I enjoyed lunch date. We sat outside w backdrop of fresh Spring air and relaxing ambience. Lobster bisque was flavorful and super rich & filling (cup size is good for 1-2 persons already to save room for rest of meal). We tried shrimp salad and shrimp taglietalle, ample amount of shrimps. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Price was average compared to other cafes/restaurants. Cheesecake at the end was the best, it came w caramel sauce which was not too sweet. Located unassumingly inside the Nordstrom department ( as all Nordstrom stores have a bar verde). I’ve eaten at many Bar Verde locations and they all have consistently delicious food, a nice atmosphere, and a great place for lunch or dinner…especially after shopping ☺️. Came here last Friday. It was my first time here and curious to try the place.
Venue:
Overall the place looks very modern and I love the vibe. I like the open kitchen where you can see the chefs cook. I was seated outside as requested. The patio is okay. Plants and heating lamps are present. The floor could use a power wash/scrubbing.
Crew/employees:
Hostess was so presentable and nice. My server was good. He comes and tend to my orders. Very efficient and prompt.
Food:
I ordered the calamari, the steak, and Tequila Sunrise to drink.
Calamari was well seasoned but not impressed with the size. The squid pieces were quite very small. $40+ for a steak with roasted potato and sautéed asparagus is kinda overpriced for me, i had steak plates with the same price but with more sides (especially what you see in the picture). But the steak was well buttered and seasoned along with the potatoes and asparagus. The Tequila Sunrise was fairly impressive, it was just sweet for me. Barely felt any alcohol
Overall experience was good. Would come back for drinks and appetizers and/or happy hour.

AUG 30-31. The chef has a special 4 course meal and it’s fantastic. And the bourbon cocktail is a must try. Bar Verde has always been a go to place for us. The kids eat well (butter noodles with a side of Parmesan cheese), it’s relaxing and the food is consistently good.
Back to the special: you must try it for the crab cakes in the 2nd course and the roast duck in the 3rd course. I love crab cakes and I was impressed by them: flavorful, crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. My wife doesn’t like crab cakes, but liked these. They have the crab flavor and texture with out feeling fatty or over fried. The roast duck was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. It was cooked to a perfect balance of flavor. And you’ve got to try that drink they’ve paired with it. It’s smooth. It’s the perfect buzz for the end of the week. Next time I’ll take a picture of the menu. After a day of shopping this has to be one of the best places to come eat. Towards the end we had an extremely professional waiter who was very attentive and got us our food quickly. The meals were well plated, full of flavor, and had healthy options. I would also recommend the desert as a full experience and kick to the taste buds!

Bar Verde is a hidden gem at the americana at brand. It’s all the way at the top of the Nordstrom’s. You might wonder if a restaurant is any good if it’s located at the top of a Nordstrom‘s. I was skeptical at first as well, but after giving it a shot, I have to say it’s one of the top three restaurants at the americana. Their menu is very dynamic and always changes according to the season and adding any chef specialties. The staff is extremely friendly, place is clean, and food is delivered in a timely fashion (I came during lunch and the place was half full.)

Over priced and terrible parking at the Americana. I wouldn’t go back just to visit this place. Food and service was good but so are so many other places. The parking should have been validated but the system they have there of feeding in a ‘follow card’ – whatever that is, didn’t work and 2 of us in 2 lanes jammed the exits for 10 minutes while we were trying to get out. Nobody was on duty and while it eventually took mine, I still ended up paying $8 for parking after validation and my friend paid $13 because she couldn’t get her card to work. We both agreed, this is not a place to return to.

Bien dissapointment. Dirty and disorganized. I gave it 2 stars because 2 of the 3 dishes were very good and the third one was okay. The place was dirty, three previously used tables were never cleaned (see pictures). A customer mentioned that and the staff gave them attitude saying, “well I’m the only one cleaning today!” She was very rude. Bad management! Also the floor was dirty. Now the food, it was pretty good: the burrada and tomates, and the chicken paliar really good. The salmon salad nicoise was dry.
It was frustrating and sad that we couldn’t enjoy such good food in a dirty local with bad service.
Update: this place is a mess, this time we ate inside and they have to tell patrons that not all the food in the menu is available. No cooks available that day (a Saturday!). This time food was just okay. By the way, the server was excellent. Too bad the restaurant still is not managed appropriately.
