The food was as great as I was informed. Had the crab balls, stuffed flounder, yams, and cabbage. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and prepared perfectly. The rolls were light and fluffy. I recommend offering corn bread as an option for patrons. Was visiting from Delaware and treated to dinner. Surprisingly, there were others from Delaware as well!

I wish I could give this 10000000 stars. Everything here is so delicious, tender, and flavorful. The staff is amazing. The crab dip was amazing and packed with crab meat. The mac in cheese is incredible. And of course the candied yams are the star of the show. The portions are super generous for a good price. Best restaurant in Salisbury hands down. I would add pics of the other food I got but I ate it too fast.

I was in the shore for training. I wanted to support at least one black-owned establishment while I was there and this is where I wound up. My server was great and truly hospitable. My food was great and the pork in the greens gave me a headache the owner immediately changed them out for me and gave me to go. I would love to visit when they have their live music.

The food and overall presentation was ok. Greens were good; potato salad was good. The waiter was very professional and provided great service. I will note they were busy and the wait was long to receive our food. The issue arose when they advertised a Special with Ribs & Chicken as you walk in. The only price tag under the special was $21.99.

Overall, I enjoyed my experience here! The food was tasty and had great flavor. We started with the Old Bay wings, which were well seasoned and tasted great! Our entree’s included the smothered pork chops and full rack of ribs. The mains were both amazing! The candied yams were just to die for! It’s no wonder why they named the restaurant the way they did! My only slight negative is the Mac and Cheese. The pasta was overcooked, and it turned the dish to mush. I will definitely be back, and I recommend it for everyone looking for good soul food!

I had the stuffed flounder, greens, Mac & cheese and candied yams.. THE ENTIRE ENTREE WAS AMAZING. We also ordered crab dip & that was the BEST homemade crab dip & chips I’ve Ever eaten! The lemonade was very tasty-Everything was PERFECT & our hostess was GREAT as well! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!! 🙂

The green beans were mushy and tasted like its been boiling in like a crab boil/old bay all day as was the mac and cheese too Strange flavors and everything was extremly salty. And they need to do something about their phone system they can barely hear you or make out what you’re saying and you can’t really hear them either to much static. Their food is usually ok but tonight was a miss.
